Eva Longoria faces backlash as she claims Americans are 'stuck' in ‘dystopian’ country after Harris’ loss
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Eva Longoria faced backlash after revealing why she and her family chose to leave the United States in an interview for Marie Claire’s “Age Issue”.
In the interview, Longoria explained her decision, claiming that many Americans felt "stuck" in the US following Kamala Harris’ loss in the 2024 presidential election.
On November 6, it was announced that Donald Trump had secured a second term after defeating Harris in the race for the White House. Longoria, who had been a vocal supporter of Harris throughout her campaign, said she wasn’t surprised by the outcome.
