BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: The untimely death of Liam Payne, a beloved member of 'One Direction', has sent shockwaves through the internet and the entertainment industry. Payne rose to fame as part of the iconic band, amassing millions of followers and captivating fans worldwide with his musical talents. 

In the wake of this tragic news, tributes have poured in from across the internet, with fellow musicians and their families honoring him and expressing their disbelief at his sudden loss. Notably, Harry Styles’ mother and Zayn Malik's family have also shared heartfelt tributes, reflecting the profound impact Payne had on those around him.

Liam Payne’s 'One Direction' bandmates' families extend their condolences

Anne Twist, the mother of former bandmate Harry Styles, has spoken out about Liam Payne's death. She shared a poignant post on her official Instagram account on Wednesday, October 16, featuring a broken red heart emoji against a black background. The post was accompanied by the caption, "Just a boy." Within hours of sharing the post, it received over 1 million likes and numerous comments urging Anne to take care of herself and her son, Harry Styles. Many also emphasized the importance of mental health.

Zayn Malik's family has also expressed their grief over Liam Payne's death. Malik's sister, Doniya, shared a photo of Liam with the caption, "Heartbroken," along with a broken heart emoji and the acronym "RIP."

Another sister, Waliyha, reposted the same image, saying, "Literally heartbroken, I have no words," accompanied by crying, sad, and heartbroken emojis. She also honored Payne's bond with Malik by sharing a series of photos in a carousel post.

She also shared a post from the official account @allontheboard, which created a board dedicated to Payne, highlighting aspects of his career. The board included details about his achievements and contributions.

"Rest in Peace Liam Payne, We are shocked And lost for Words. It's a tragedy that you have passed away so young. You will be forever loved, always missed and never forgotten. You will live on in all the songs you sung. May heaven be a paradise for you." 

The post concluded, "May you feel the love from the Earth in your new home there sending so much love to those who loved you, your family, your friends, your One Direction Brothers. and the directioners and so much love to you son Bear."

Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne experienced fame together

Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne rose to fame as part of One Direction, along with Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, in 2010. They were brought together by X Factor judge Simon Cowell. 

One Direction quickly gained millions of followers, achieving overnight success and releasing five studio albums: 'Up All Night', 'Midnight Memories', and their final full-length album, 'Made in the A.M.', which debuted in November 2015. 

They maintained their popularity until going on hiatus later that year, allowing the members to pursue their own careers. Payne released his debut studio album, 'LP1', in December 2019. He began a family with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole in March 2017, but they split in 2018, sharing a son named Bear.

Liam Payne had 'injuries incompatible with life' due to fall from hotel balcony

According to Us Weekly, Buenos Aires City Police from station 14B were called to the hotel where Liam Payne was staying on the afternoon of October 16.

They were alerted about an "aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol." Alberto Crescenti, the director of the Emergency Medical Assistance System, stated in an interview with La Nacion,

"At 5.04 pm, through 911 and the integrated public security system, we were alerted about a person in the internal courtyard of the CasaSur hotel." He further detailed that the response team arrived on the scene within seven minutes to confirm the man's death. Crescenti added, "Unfortunately, he had injuries incompatible with life due to the fall, so we had to confirm the death. There was no possibility of resuscitation."
