Hayden Panettiere cherished 'good times' in final Instagram post two weeks before death
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hayden Panettiere’s last Instagram post showed her sharing a lighthearted moment with director, podcaster, and photographer Randall Slavin just weeks before her death.
The ‘Nashville’ star was 36 when she died on Sunday, August 16. However, the cause of her death has not been revealed yet.

Following her untimely passing, many of Panettiere's fans flocked to her social media page, where she shared her last post on July 27.
The black-and-white image showed Panettiere and Slavin playfully embracing each other as she captioned it, “Good times and good friends @randallslavin."
Hayden Panettiere's dad called her 'an incredible light and a force of nature'
Panettiere’s death was announced by her father, Skip, who reportedly said in a statement, “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen.”
The devastated dad also asked for privacy “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.”
Hayden Panettiere's memoir was released months before her death
Panettiere began working as a child star and was notably seen as the reel daughter of Will Patton in the 2020 biographical film 'Remember the Titans'.
She, however, had issues with child stardom through adulthood, about which she opened up in her memoir 'This Is Me: A Reckoning.'
Released in May, the 'I Love You, Beth Cooper' star shared “a rare and intimate glimpse into her life behind closed doors, opening up about postpartum depression, addiction and recovery, trauma, domestic abuse, and loss” in the book.
The ‘Heroes’ actress leaves behind a daughter named Kaya, whom she had with ex Wladimir Klitschko, in December 2014.
Hayden Panettiere said her memoir would inspire people
In 2024, while teasing her memoir, Panettiere told PEOPLE, “You may laugh a little, cry a little, but most importantly, you’ll hopefully finish it feeling inspired. I’ve grown so much from my experiences.”
“I hope that this opportunity to further elaborate on that journey may provide a little comfort for those who have faced similar challenges. I’m truly grateful for every lesson, and for the woman I have become today,” she had added.
At the time, the book's description stated: “With her signature blend of charm and authenticity, Panettiere invites fans and admirers alike to join her on this extraordinary voyage of self-discovery and revelation.”
