Inside Nicki Minaj's unlikely role in Billy Ray Cyrus and estranged wife Firerose's leaked audio fight

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billy Ray Cyrus reportedly had the chance to join Nicki Minaj on stage, but according to a source, his estranged wife, Firerose, was opposed to him accepting the offer.

This information emerged following the release of an audio recording capturing an argument between the couple, during which Cyrus can be heard angrily reprimanding Firerose.

The source also noted that the dispute was due to Firerose's objection to Cyrus attending Nicki Minaj's concert.

Cyrus and Firerose, who went public with their relationship in 2022 and married in October 2023, revealed in early June that Cyrus had filed for divorce after seven months of marriage.

A source claims that Billy Ray Cyrus was invited to be a "surprise guest" at a Nicki Minaj concert, but Firerose did not want him to accept the offer. “He was really excited about it and couldn't wait for the opportunity,” an insider said. 

“But Firerose didn't want him to take the offer because the next morning she had a meeting that she wanted him to attend with her and she wanted them to get a good night's sleep," as per Pop Culture.

Despite Cyrus promising to return home early, Firerose was reportedly unhappy, leading to an argument where she allegedly became physical, hitting him. The insider stated, "She started a fight with Billy Ray and even got physical, hitting him. Billy eventually gave in and agreed not to perform at the Nicki concert."

After the altercation, Cyrus chose to sleep in the cabin in their Tennessee backyard, which he also uses as a music room.

However, a second source refuted these claims and clarified that Firerose was not responsible for any physical violence in their relationship. “It's unfortunate that the real abuser continues to spin his story,” the insider said. “These allegations from him came out after she shared her truth [in early filings] which then caused his story to grow and evolve.”

The initial source also noted that their aforementioned argument escalated and Cyrus' comments were driven by his increasing frustration. “Firerose was upset he did that so she started recording on her phone and picked the lock of the cabin which is when the audio can be heard of him going off on her,” they explained.

“It had just become too much at that point. He isn't proud of the things he said but she had just pushed him past his boiling point.”

Amid Billy Ray Cyrus's ongoing divorce from his ex, Firerose, an audio surfaced in which the country singer is heard angrily reprimanding his estranged wife about his timing for a performance. “Get the f**k out of here,” Cyrus said. “I had to go when I was ready to go. If you had just shut the f**k up …”

Firerose pleaded with Cyrus to "please stop screaming" at her, but he persists, "If you had left it the f***ing alone."

Cyrus says in the audio. "If you would've left it alone when I told you, it's done. Now I'm really f***ing pissed. You once again showed me you will not listen. I don't know who the f*** you think you are but you will not f***ing listen."

He continued, “This ain’t about your BRCA, this ain’t about your surgery, this ain’t about nothing. This is about you being a f**king selfish b***h.”

Expressing his frustration, Cyrus said: "This would not be happening if you were to just shut your f***ing mouth. Look what f***ing mess you’ve made. What a dumba** f***ing thing to do."

The audio then shifts to Cyrus discussing his children, referring to himself in the third person. "The other two children that were there was s**t that was there from a previous marriage before she met Billy Ray, by two separate fathers," he says. "No, woman, I said that wrong. Not a previous marriage. The other two children that were there, she was impregnated by two different men and had those two children before she met Billy Ray"

Cyrus then adds, "Just think if it said that. The truth on ... Brandi, Trace and everyone knows devil's a skank," as per Pop culture.
