MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump seemingly removed a social media post on Tuesday morning, where he expressed his displeasure with his legal team's lack of time to prepare for the upcoming witness in the hush money criminal trial, per The Hill.

In the Truth Social post, which he deleted within an hour after posting it, the 77-year-old MAGA strongman said he has “just recently been told who the witness is today.”

The ex-Commander-in-Chief continued, “This is unprecedented, no time for lawyers to prepare.”

“No Judge has ever run a trial in such a biased and partisan way,” Trump wrote in the now-deleted post.

Trump's furious Truth Social post

The former POTUS lambasted the judge presiding over the hush money case brought against him.

“He is CROOKED & HIGHLY CONFLICTED, even taking away my First Amendment Rights. Now he’s threatening me with JAIL & THEY HAVE NO CASE -This according to virtually all Legal Scholars & Experts! Why isn’t the Fake News Media reporting his Conflict?” Trump said.

Donald Trump’s legal team has a list of potential witnesses, but they are not being informed about who will be testifying until shortly beforehand.

The prosecutors have indicated that they usually provide more advance notice as a courtesy, but have not done so in this case due to the ex-president's recent posts about the witnesses.

“We still don’t know the next witness,” Trump attorney Todd Blanche said in the courtroom before Monday’s trial proceedings came to a close.

Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass stated that his team intended to notify the defense about the next witness immediately after yesterday's sessions concluded.

Steinglass told Judge Juan Merchan, “I don’t like the impression being left that we are somehow sandbagging the defense.”

Donald Trump has been found guilty of violating a gag order imposed by Judge Juan Merchan, who is currently presiding over his hush money criminal trial.

The case involves 34 charges of falsifying business records in connection with a payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the lead-up to the 2016 general election.

Trump has been found to have committed 10 violations of the gag order, which was imposed to prevent him from discussing the case with the media or others.

Internet divided as Trump deletes Truth Social post

One X user claimed, "Witness lists are provided to defence well in advance but if the prosecution were to try to insert a surprise witness not on lists then the defece would have a legal argument for time to prepare."

Another argued, "The idea that he can't complain about his own legal woes online is utterly insane."

Someone else wrote, "Nothing about this “trial” has been legit."

One user asked, "So is taking down a post the same thing as putting words back in your mouth after you have spoken them?"

An X user remarked, "He wants to "Lock himself up!"."

A tweet read, "Election interference."
