LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Usher seems to be going through a rough patch after his friend and fellow rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs got arrested on racketeering charges last week.

On Sunday, September 22, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 'Confessions' singer's entire X (formerly Twitter) feed had been wiped clean, deleting his 7k-odd tweets. His highlights, however, remained, per OK! Magazine

Nevertheless, a few hours later, the 45-year-old 'Confessions' singer claimed his account was hacked, leading to the disappearance of his posts.

As all of his posts came back, Usher took to his X handle to write, "Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! 😂😂😂 See you tonight at Intuit Dome ✌🏾👀✌🏾."

The post has since then garnered more than four million views and 7k comments. Nevertheless, his fans were not buying his claim as they found it too coincidental that three of Diddy's friends faced the same predicament.

Apart from Usher, the social media feeds of Megan Fox and Pink were also wiped clean and their tweets were deleted at the same time.

Internet doesn't buy Usher's claim of X account getting hacked

Though Usher claimed his X account got hacked leading him to lose his tweets, the Internet wasn't buying it. While a section of fans claimed this is most of the celebrities' go-to response when "something weird" happens, another group of fans questioned sarcastically whether it was the same hacker who deleted Megan Fox and Pink's tweets.

One of the social media users declared, "Nobody’s buying that dude. You better find yourself a nice non-extradition island to go to and stay there for a while."

Someone else, who did not believe Usher's claims, said, "So crazy how it got hacked…but instead of posting crazy stuff, the hacker just DELETED your posts and Diddy just got arrested…and all the stuff with Justin Bieber. Soooooo weird we all “ran with it”. Right bro."

"I’m sure X corporate will be able to verify this.. 🤣," noted another user.

Someone else pointed out, "Lmfaoo yea a hacker gonna waste time deleting tweets for no reason on ur account 😂😂."

Another netizen quizzed, "Dude’s going to pretend like he doesn’t know about Puffy camp?"

"Are you serious dude, this just shows that you’re guilty as sin. It’s ok because no one believes you🤣🤣🤣," said another fan.

"That's a weird way to say tampering with evidence," noted another.

Someone else referenced Usher's previously resurfaced video, and said, "Dude you just told on yourself and now you’re doing it again."

"Three celebrities all connected to Diddy mysteriously have all their posts deleted or are "hacked" within hours of each other. Sure, bro, we'll see," said another user.

Someone else asked, "Did your account really got hacked or you're not telling us something?"

Another user declared point-blank, "Omg how embarrassing that you would think anyone would fall for the “hacked” excuse. What a weenie. 🤣"

"Why every time a celebrity do something weird their go to response is they got hacked 🤣," asked another user.

Someone else sarcastically quipped, "Prolly the same hacker that got Megan Fox & Pink too huh."

Usher's past comments about Diddy resurface online

Usher's debacle with X happened amid his past remarks on Diddy's parties resurfacing online.

During a 2016 interview with Howard Stern, the R&B singer shared his shocking experience from his house-sharing days with the 'Coming Home' rapper 30 years ago.

Usher lived in Diddy's residence as a 14-year-old upon the insistence of the latter's manager LA Reid. The 'Good Good' singer claimed what he saw there was "wild and crazy," per RadarOnline.

He claimed that he went to live with Diddy when Reid insisted that he should "see the lifestyle" to help him get an idea of the industry.

The 'Love in This Club' hitmaker admitted to Howard Stern, "I got a chance to see some things...I don't know if I could indulge and even understand what I was looking at."

"It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place, and I didn't necessarily understand it," he claimed.

In another unearthed interview with Rolling Stone from 2004, Usher claimed that he was introduced to "a totally different set of shit, sex, specifically." while living with the now arrested rapper.
