PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Only days after obtaining a $91.6 million bond to pay a jury award, the former president of the United States, Donald Trump made snide remarks at his accuser E Jean Carroll once again despite his current legal troubles.

In retaliation to her claim that he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s in a dressing room of a Manhattan department shop, Trump dubbed her charges against him "false" and made fun of her by calling her "Miss Bergdorf Goodman," according to DailyMail

What did Donald Trump say about E Jean Carroll?

Former POTUS Donald Trump told CNBC during a call-in interview on Monday, “I have no idea who she is, except one thing, I got sued. From that point on I said, 'Wow, that's crazy, what this is.'”

“I got charged, I was given a false accusation and had to post a $91 million bond on a false accusation,” Trump continued.

Trump's denial follows two previous rulings in the case where he was required to deposit money. In May, a jury found him guilty of sexual assault against columnist E Jean Carroll and granted his accuser $5 million in damages.

The 77-year-old MAGA strongman spent $5.6 million toward the cost of his appeal.

In addition, Trump is appealing yet another $83 million judgment that mandated he post a higher bail, which he obtained through an insurance company by the name of Chubb Limited.

The presumptive GOP presidential nominee could potentially be sued again for his attacks on Carroll following the two defamation rulings, particularly in instances where he has refuted her claims in public and court.

At a rally in Georgia, he denounced her once again, saying, “I just posted a $91 million bond, $91 million on a fake story, totally made-up story.”

“Ninety-one million based on false accusations made about me by a woman that I knew nothing about, didn’t know, never heard of, I know nothing about her,” Trump continued.

“And when I denied it, I said, 'It’s so crazy. It’s false.’ I get sued for defamation. That’s where it starts,” he claimed.

George Conway, a lawyer, and Trump detractor, wrote on social media that Trump's most recent remarks on CNBC could expose him more than those made during his campaign rally in Georgia, providing Carroll with an opportunity to sue him in New York.

Conway tweeted on X, “The fact that Trump libeled @ejeancarroll on @CNBC @CNBCSquwalk@CNBC is highly significant for a procedural reason in addition to a substantive one.”

He continued, “Were E Jean to sue Trump just for the speech he gave in northwest Georgia the other day, she would have had to sue in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. But now that he libeled her on Squawk Box, which is anchored in Manhattan, she may now sue in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. If she does that, the case would be assigned to Judge Lewis A Kaplan as a case related to the earlier two cases that produced $88.3 million in damages awards.”

Roberta Kaplan (R) stated that her legal team continues to monitor Donald Trump's remarks with regard to her client E Jean Carroll (L), cautioning him that she may sue him again (goodmorningamerica.com)

In Monday’s new court filing, Roberta Kaplan, who was hired by Carroll upon Conway's suggestion, stated that her team is currently keeping a close watch on Trump's statements regarding Carroll, which could potentially lead to another lawsuit against the former president.

It is to be noted that despite having the opportunity to object to the method by which Trump paid the bond, Carroll chose not to do so.

Instead, she mentioned that both sides had come to an understanding regarding logistics.

One X user remarked, "He really wants to go back to court, huh?"

Another user asked, "I look forward to Ms Carroll's 3rd (and largest) defamation damages judgment against Mr Trump. Since an $85 million penalty wasn't enough to stop him from persisting in this illegal behavior, how much would you expect the 3rd judgment to be?"

Another user said, "Well her lawyers need to file another defamatory. He won’t keep his mouth shut."

"I’m not liking his chances to win on appeal. Seems more likely he will be sued again." one user wrote.

Another X user quipped: "E Jean Carroll makes Trumpy cry a lot — and takes his money!"

Finally, this user tweeted: "Sue him again and again and again until he realizes he is not above the law."
