NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In the aftermath of the heated 2024 presidential election, where Donald Trump triumphed in a landslide victory over Kamala Harris, claiming all nine swing states, country music star Jelly Roll has found himself at the center of a political storm.

A viral video circulating on social media shows the singer smiling and greeting Trump alongside Kid Rock at UFC 309, sparking speculation about his political leanings. As the video ignited debates across the internet, Jelly Roll took to TikTok to set the record straight, revealing who he voted for in the 2024 election, leaving fans and followers stunned.

Jelly Roll's recent meeting with Donald Trump has sparked online debate, with many assuming that the musician is supporting Trump in the 2024 presidential election. To address the rumors and clarify his stance, Jelly Roll turned to TikTok, explaining that he did not vote in the election.

In a now-deleted comment responding to a TikTok user who accused him and his wife, Bunnie Xo, of being Trump supporters, he stated, "Can’t vote sir – at all. lol. Nor have I ever. Nor will I ever be allowed to vote. It’s alright, you don’t know me, but please don’t lie about me."

This is not the first time Jelly Roll has addressed political concerns. He has previously stated that he does not align with either the Democratic or Republican parties and explained that due to his past, his right to vote has been revoked.

He said, "I am a musician. I have no political alliance. I am neither Democrat nor Republican. In fact, because of my past, my right to vote has been restricted, thus for I have never paid attention to a political race in my life."

According to Whiskey Riff, a felony conviction automatically results in the loss of voting rights, and one can only regain the right to vote by having the conviction expunged or receiving a pardon from the governor.

Jelly Roll meets Donald Trump for UFC 309

Jelly Roll was in the crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York for UFC 309 on Saturday, November 16, when Donald Trump arrived with his entourage.

As Trump passed by during the Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic fight, Jelly Roll acknowledged the president-elect with a nod before heading over to greet UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

However, Roll was clearly excited when he finally had the opportunity to interact with Trump later in the evening. Along with Trump, Kid Rock joined the conversation, offering his approval to the fellow musician.

The connection between Roll and Trump could prove advantageous for the singer, particularly given his well-known efforts to assist convicts. As an ex-convict himself, Roll is dedicated to giving back to the community, and a rapport with Trump could potentially open doors for future prison reform initiatives.
