LOS ANGELES, CALIIFORNIA: The release of Taylor Swift’s latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' has brought renewed attention to the long-standing feud between the singer and Kim Kardashian.
Swift, 34, surprised fans with the drop of her double album on April 19 titled 'TTPD: The Anthology, just two hours after the release of her 11th studio album. One track in particular, 'thanK you aIMee', has sparked speculation that it could be aimed at Kardashian, 43.
Kim Kardashian is 'over' Taylor Swift feud
In the song, Swift sings about facing bullying, and fans noted that the capitalization of the three letters in the title (KIM) could be a reference to the SKIMS founder.
A source close to Kardashian revealed to PEOPLE her response to the track: “She’s over it and thinks Taylor should move on.”

The feud between Swift and Kardashian dates back to 2016 when Kardashian's then-husband Kanye West referenced Swift in his song 'Famous.' Swift denied approving the lyrics, leading to a public dispute between the two camps.
Despite Kardashian's efforts to defend West by releasing edited footage of a phone call between him and Swift, the feud continued to simmer over the years.
Swift has addressed the situation in various interviews, reflecting on the psychological toll it took on her. However, with the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department,' she seems to be ready to move on from the past.
Swift wrote on Instagram that the collection of songs "reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure."
"This period of the author's life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted," she continued.
"This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that's left behind is the tortured poetry."
Internet reacts to Kim Kardashian moving on from Taylor Swift feud
Kim Kardashian's recent comments urging Taylor Swift to "move on" from their long-standing feud have sparked a flurry of reactions across social media.
One user expressed frustration, saying, "There is nothing more toxic than someone doing you dirty and then telling you to just move on with zero accountability on their part. I’m pretty sure that’s why poetry was invented."
Another echoed similar sentiments, asserting, "Easy for her to say. She caused the pain!"
One user dismissed her relevance, stating, "It’s a song. She wrote it probably a few years ago. Kim is irrelevant anyways."
Yet, another user defended Swift's right to address the issue in her music, arguing, "If any of you actually listened to the album or cared to read more than a headline you would understand that this is her moving on."
The conversation expanded beyond Kardashian and Swift, with users reflecting on the broader context of the feud.
"It isn’t just Kim. The whole world wants her to move on. Maybe this song will give her closure. She already proved she was right, Kim will never say she is sorry or that Taylor is right. Kim has lost everything- marriage, respect, popularity. Time to let it go and enjoy your success Taylor!!! You won!!!" remarked another user.
