LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: King Charles, previously discontent with only seeing Archie and Lilibet on video calls, is now reportedly considering a trip to the United States soon, as suggested by royal author Tom Quinn.

While Charles can easily see Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children, it's a different story for his other two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, shared by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

This comes weeks after reports that King has told friends that he is "keener than ever" to build a relationship with Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

According to Quinn, Charles has been discussing the possibility of an official visit to the United States in the future.

Quinn claimed, "Charles has had discussions about an official visit to the United States at some time in the future, and there is no doubt if it goes ahead he would build in time to visit his youngest son and his grandchildren,"

He added, “But there are mountains of planning to be overcome before that becomes even a remote possibility," as per The Mirror.

Quinn also mentioned the potential for Charles to make a private, unpublicized visit to Montecito, much like his previous discreet visits to other countries.

He elaborated, "It's certainly possible that would make a discreet private visit to Harry and the children in California. He is desperate to see them and hates the idea that Archie and Lili will not remember him as the warm, friendly grandfather he wants to be."

Another source indicated that Charles is currently frustrated by the distance between him and his grandchildren, seeing Archie and Lilibet only occasionally via video calls arranged by their parents.

While Harry's legal battle over security concerns makes it unlikely for him to bring his children to the UK to visit their grandfather and extended family, there is optimism. Reports suggest Harry is searching for a new property in the UK, potentially near his father's Highgrove estate, which could improve access for King Charles to his grandchildren in the future.

Internet worries about King Charles' health after he said that he may visit grandchildren

After hearing about the possibility of Charles visiting the United States to see his grandchildren, shared by Harry and Meghan Markle, many internet users have shared their thoughts, according to The Mirror.

One user said, “You never know why King Charles wants to pay a visit over to America, as his diagnosis may be quite serious him having cancer.”

Another claimed, “I'm not sure his health would allow it unless they are talking sometime in the future.”

The third explained, “There is no need for the King to meet the "kids"! Nothing to be gained from meeting them! There are not any photo opportunities to be had by meeting up with the "kids", they are certainly not a photogenic pair, are they?? Just leave them be and if the "kids" when older, want to meet the RF at a later date then they can sort it out themselves!”

The fourth asserted, “I don't believe that for one second the King wants to go to the US. it is also not safe for the King to travel there for many reasons including his health. he is fighting Cancer like two other Members of the Royal Family they all need to be left alone.”

The fifth added, “It'll never happen.”
