Lara Trump shares GOP campaign strategy and reminds people 'how much better life was' with Trump in office
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump joined co-host Ainsley Earhardt to discuss the strategy of Donald Trump's presidential campaign for the battleground states, on the Monday, June 24 episode of 'Fox & Friends'.
Lara further shared how the RNC planned to utilize the funds collected by the Trump campaign, as the race to the White House heats up for November. Donald Trump and Joe Biden are set to meet for the first presidential debate for 2024 on Thursday, June 27.
Lara Trump on the GOP campaign strategy
"We have to compare two presidents and their presidencies," Lara told Earhardt on Monday. "When Donald Trump is out there talking to supporters, and I think you will hear a lot of this on Thursday night, his job and our job from the RNC and the Trump campaign is to continue to remind the American people how much different their life was with Donald Trump in office, how much better their life was."
"They had more money in their pockets, we had a secure southern border, we had our standing on the world stage. Gas was $1.87 a gallon on average when Donald Trump was in the White House. You compare that to right now and it's just about 180 degrees in the wrong direction where we are as a country."
"And I think when people are hurting out there, ... it's a great opportunity for Donald Trump to come in ... and say, 'Hey, remember when I was there? I know how to do it and you know I know how to do it because I actually did it'. That is the strategy," she continued. "And (Trump) believes he should go to places where Republicans traditionally do not go."
She claimed that Trump will be visiting places which have a reputation for being Democratic bastions, "because he believes that if you go ask for people's votes, they will vote for you."
"Now is the time we need to save this country, and it doesn't matter where you are in America, you're life has gotten worse under Joe Biden's regime as President of the United States. Now is the time that Donald Trump thinks he can pick up some of these blue states."
Lara Trump shares Trump campaign's plans for the funds raised
"We have an incredible election integrity program unlike anything we have ever seen in this country," shared Lara when asked about the RNC's plans for the funds raised for supporting Donald Trump's election campaign.
"We're going to spend a lot of money to train all of our poll watchers, poll workers, our legal experts around the country, because we need to ensure election integrity. We want to do things like legal ballot harvesting in this country everywhere we possibly can. We need to swamp the vote and make it too big to rig, so we have got to encourage people to get out and vote early."
"We're going to apply all the money that we are receiving from voters across this country who really want their country back to ensure a free, fair and transparent election, to mobilize our ground troops all across this country, and make sure that we all go to bed early on election night because Donald Trump will be declared the 47th President very early, we believe," she concluded.
