BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Liam Payne, 31, tragically died after falling from a third-floor balcony while on a holiday in Buenos Aires.

The singer, who was on vacation with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 25, had been alone at the time of the incident, which occurred two days after she returned to Florida.

Reports suggest the former 'One Direction' star was seen behaving "erratically" by hotel staff before falling to his death on Wednesday, October 16.

Hotel guests describe Liam Payne's behavior before the tragic incident

Before his death, hotel staff at Casa Sur in Buenos Aires reported witnessing erratic behavior from Liam Payne.

Doug Jones, a hotel guest, recalled the strange noises coming from Liam's room.

"I thought they were doing construction, there was so much banging, doors slamming, most of the day. It was loud, bizarre," Jones told the Guardian.

He later heard sirens and a loud scream, thinking there might have been a fire.

Emergency services were called after hotel staff described an "aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol," as mentioned in reports and the 911 call transcript.
