Liam Payne's father 'determined to accompany his son home'
Geoff Payne, Liam Payne's father, is planning to repatriate his son Liam Payne's body following a recent visit to the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Liam had been staying before his death.
Geoff, who lives with Liam's mother, Karen, in Wolverhampton, expressed the family's desire to bring Liam home.
According to a source, "Liam’s loved ones just want him home, back where he belongs among his family. As they await the pathologist to finish their tests, behind the scenes, they have been tackling the logistics about how best to get his body back to the UK."
The source emphasized there are no direct commercial flights between Buenos Aires and London but the family hopes to minimize stops and disruptions during the journey.
The family is considering to charter a private jet, although very few have the range capable of flying the 6,915-mile journey on one tank of fuel.
The source added, "But Geoff is determined to accompany his son home."
Geoff also expressed gratitude to fans who gathered outside the hotel to offer their heartfelt tributes and kind words. The family is committed to bringing Liam Payne's body home once the post-mortem is complete, as per US Sun.
