LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's five-year-old son Archie has found himself at the center of a shocking surrogacy scandal, with sources revealing that the royal couple is facing intense scrutiny over his birth.

Insiders have now pointed to the actress’ estranged father, Thomas Markle, who is casting doubt on the legitimacy of Archie's arrival. As the speculation intensifies, royal experts and sources are weighing in on the controversy.

The ongoing scandal, which also involves their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, has sparked heated debates about the legitimacy of their place in the royal line of succession.

Buckingham Palace under pressure to remove Archie and Lilibet from royal succession amid surrogacy rumors

Sources have revealed that Buckingham Palace is facing increasing pressure to remove Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, from the UK's royal line of succession due to ongoing surrogacy rumors surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, the controversy could be put to rest if the Meghan provides concrete proof that she gave birth to both children.

“This scandal comes as no surprise. Speculation about the children has been simmering for years,” a high-ranking palace courtier shared, adding “The kids are sixth and seventh in line to the throne but have been under cloak-and-dagger secrecy since they were born. There are so many questions swirling around them. This crisis won't die down until the irrefutable truth comes out.”

According to RadarOnline, royal author Lady Colin Campbell has challenged the conspiracy of silence and misinformation surrounding the two children. He asserted, "I think the whole thing stinks to high heaven. Meghan has created a situation that has caused people to believe the children were born by surrogacy." Campbell added, ""Clear it up once and for all. There should be no mystery as to who is legitimately in the line of succession."

What did Samantha Markle report?

Samantha Markle, 60, the estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle, along with their father, Thomas Markle, 80, have seemingly intensified the controversy. In an interview with journalist Dan Wootton, Samantha stated, "If they used a surrogate, admit it."

She went on to explain her perspective, saying, "My father said nine months before Archie was allegedly born that [Meghan] picked up her frozen eggs. I thought: ‘That makes sense there would be a surrogate involved.' But why the secrecy? Instead of lying to the world, just say: 'We're using a surrogate.'” Samantha also added, "But that would mean the child would be removed from the line of succession because an heir has to be born from a titled royal mother."

When did the surrogacy rumors surrounding Archie first emerge?

Critics have weighed in on the ongoing confusion surrounding the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, pointing to discrepancies that arose after the official birth date was recorded as May 6, 2019.

For context, Archie was born at Portland Hospital in London, located just 20 miles from the couple's former residence, Frogmore Cottage, where Meghan had planned for a home birth. In his memoir 'Spare', Prince Harry proudly recounted, "Within two hours of our son being born, we were back at Frogmore."

However, this statement raised eyebrows, with one courtier commenting, "How many women give birth and are home in two hours? That didn't make sense unless Meghan didn't deliver the child herself."
