While speaking on the August 4 episode, Kerr reflected on her evolving relationship with her former husband. She revealed that despite their divorce, they have maintained a strong friendship.
Podcaster Kristin Cavallari asked how she and Bloom had managed to co-parent Flynn since their split in 2013, to which the Australian model replied, "Since day one."
“Through that, we’ve known each other for a long time; we’ve developed such a good friendship that he’s just part of the family. He’s like a brother, you know? So we have that,” she said.
In a separate interview, Kerr spoke about her dynamic with Bloom. “From day one, Orlando and I had done a lot of spiritual work, and forgiveness was a big part of that, forgiving each other, forgiving ourselves, creating peace within the situation,” Kerr shared.
“And we both knew that the relationship was not bringing out the best in each other.” She said it was a mutual decision to go their separate ways.
