WASHINGTON, DC: Marjorie Taylor Greene appears to have just put Donald Trump on notice.

The Georgia firebrand is making it clear that if the president keeps tiptoeing around the Epstein scandal, he might just lose the folks who’ve stood by him through thick and thin.

Trump has notably been brushing off renewed interest in the Epstein files as nothing but a smear campaign. He’s labeled the uproar a “hoax” and pointed fingers at “radical left lunatics” trying to stir up trouble.

But it’s not just the left. His own base is now demanding that he stop the dodgeball act and deliver on his promises.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's warning and Trump admin's response

Without naming Epstein directly, Greene lit up X on Monday with a pointed post. “If you tell the base of people, who support you, of deep state treasonous crimes, election interference, blackmail, and rich, powerful elite evil cabals, then you must take down every enemy of The People,” she wrote.

Greene wasn’t done. “If not. The base will turn, and there’s no going back,” she warned ominously. “Dangling bits of red meat no longer satisfies. They want the whole steak dinner and will accept nothing else.”

Responding to the outrage in a statement to Politico, Harrison Fields — special assistant to the president and principal deputy press secretary — bragged about Trump’s track record.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, the Republican Party has achieved unprecedented unity and strength,” Fields said. “After securing the largest share of votes ever for a Republican presidential nominee and winning majorities in both the House and Senate, President Trump has delivered the most impactful first six months of any presidency.”

Just days earlier, Trump promised to release grand jury transcripts tied to the Epstein case. But it seems Greene is no longer buying what he’s selling.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken a stand on Esptein files

This isn’t Greene’s first rodeo dragging Trump when she thinks he’s off-message.

Earlier this month, she slammed his decision to send weapons to Ukraine. But Epstein is a line she says cannot be crossed.

“It’s just a red line that it crosses for many people: Jeffrey Epstein is literally the most well-known, convicted pedophile in modern-day history,” she told CNN. “There needing to be transparency of the rich and powerful elites that were in his circle while he was just one of the worst serial abusers of young women.”

She later posted on X, “The line is drawn with anyone who abuses children and vulnerable innocent people. When George Santos is going to prison for 7 years but Epstein only served 13 months, our justice system is CORRUPT!!!”

Despite having been one of Trump’s most loyal supporters, Greene told The New York Times last week, “I don’t accept it, and I don’t think anyone else should accept it.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene vote that raised eyebrows

For weeks, the Trump administration has resisted calls to release Department of Justice records tied to Epstein’s mysterious jailhouse death.

The DOJ and FBI already declared there’s no evidence of murder or that he was keeping a “client list.” But the lack of transparency has made Trump supporters upset, and they’re even calling for Trump ally Pam Bondi to resign.

As he has used the department to punish enemies, Trump is expected to deliver what the White House calls a law-and-order speech and outline steps he will take to counter “weaponization” of the department. In DC, Greene joined forces with Republican reps Thomas Massie (Kentucky), Lauren Boebert (Colorado), and a few Dems to push legislation forcing a vote to pry those Epstein files out into the daylight.

But a recent bill with the same provision tanked 211 to 210. To the shock of her followers, Greene voted against it. Democrats attempted to use that move against her.

Rep Eric Swalwell blasted Greene for flip-flopping. “As predicted. Completely full of s**t. @RepMTG votes to keep Epstein Files buried,” he wrote. “After posting nonsense tweet saying she wants them released.”

But Greene wasn’t about to let that narrative stick. “That is not true. It was a procedural vote. We voted against Democrats having House floor control,” she clarified on a podcast.
