As per reports, Ben Affleck’s work commitments prevented him from accompanying his wife to the star-studded evening at the Met Gala.

The actor's representative confirmed that Ben Affleck stayed in Los Angeles to shoot his upcoming film 'The Accountant 2.'

Lopez exuded high spirits as she adorned a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, reminiscent of butterfly wings. The dress, adorned with 2,500,000 silver foil bugles and beads, required meticulous preparation and hard work.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Jennifer was questioned about the practicality of walking in such elaborate dresses for the special evening. The 54-year-old responded, "Barely, ever. The Met Gala looks are not about comfort."

When asked about the prospect of hosting alongside some exceptional young talents, the 'Enough' actress remarked, "I was really honored to be asked to host it alongside Zendaya and Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth. This year, the theme of Met Gala was “The Garden of Time.” 

"Anna was gracious enough to ask me. We’re going to have a good time," per People.

Reflecting on her decade-long association with Met Gala meet, JLo reflected, "It’s such an interesting mix of artists and business people," Lopez said on GMA. "It’s not just music or film, it’s everybody — fashion, film, music, business — and you get to have some really interesting interactions."
