LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sara Haines from 'The View' surprised her fellow co-hosts on Friday's episode when she revealed that she doesn't 'cover up' herself when nude in front of her three children.

Her motivation stems from a desire for them to not experience shame regarding their bodies. In light of Bradley Cooper's recent remarks on embracing nudity at home, the 46-year-old elaborated on her perspective, emphasizing her comfort if her children, Alec, Sandra, and Caleb, accidentally witness her without clothes.

Co-host reactions and Sara's candid explanation on nudity and parenting

Sara's co-host Sunny Hostin displayed significant surprise at her revelation and questioned her about whether her kids have witnessed her 'private parts'. Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah Griffin confessed to being a 'prude', expressing discomfort even with her dog seeing her unclothed.

Ana Navarro wasn't entirely enthusiastic about Sara's perspective and humorously stated her relief at reaching 52 without encountering her parents' private parts. Despite the mixed reactions, Sara was eager to clarify her decision to let her children witness her in a state of undress.

"I do not enjoy walking around naked," she began. 'I come of the generation where I'm still learning to love my body naked. I'm not naked very often.

"I do not cover myself up immediately between the shower and my lotions when my kids come running in because I have made a deliberate effort for them to not feel shamed of their bodies and to remind them that it's science."

Sara continued: "I breastfed in front of each kid as they came around, I Never hid it,' as Joy butted in and claimed: "That's different," Sara retorted: "Yeah but to a child, they still see those breasts as food, they're not looking at them in a way that we're assigning to them."

Joy Joked, "Oh if men would only see them as food," Sara further elaborated on her parenting approach, stating, "I don't think there's an arbitrary age when that needs to change.

'I think you know your children and when there's a unique curiosity or something happens, but they usually barge in and they are more mad someone took their toy or kicked them than what I'm doing. So I don't want to cover up out of shame."

Addressing to Sunny question, Sara said,  "They've seen anything they can see while I'm putting on my lotion. They don't look at me, they're screaming!' and when Ana asked why she doesn't lock the door, Sara replied: 'I don't lock my children out of my room, that is a 24/7 service I have to provide!"

Alyssa candidly revelation

Alyssa, aged 34, then spoke up and mentioned: "This would be different if they were 12-year-olds and at that age where you start thinking of things like that, but little kids... I'm so prude, my puppy will run in and I'm like, "sorry, Herbie" so who knows!"

"I dunno, I'm just glad I made it to 52 without seeing my dad's schlong or my mom's hoo-ha," Ana made a humorous comment, and Sunny concurred, confirming that she had never witnessed her own parents undressed.

Joy quipped, "I never saw anything when I was child except when they would take me to Coney Island and these men would wear loose drawers and Mr Happy would fall out and that was so traumatizing to me. 'I was 10-years-old. I'd go to the beach at Coney Island, then you'd go into the bath houses and women would be taking baths in there!"

Sara playfully replied, "You got over your trauma because you married the next man you saw naked in public!' as the rest of the panel burst out laughing. The debate was in response to 49-year-old Bradley's recent comments during an appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast. After the host said his family was 'naked all the time'."

Bradley replied 'Me too,' before adding: 'And by the way, I was like that. Not with my mom but with my dad. My dad was always nude, always took showers with him.'
