The 32-year-old singer and actress announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco on December 11, sharing a glimpse of her special moment and the million dollar jewel.

In an Instagram carousel captioned “Forever begins now…,” Gomez offered her fans a close-up of the stunning sparkler that marks the start of this new chapter in her life.

The ring, a breathtaking masterpiece, features a large marquise diamond—an elongated oval shape with pointed ends—set on a diamond eternity band.

To complement the timeless design, Gomez kept her manicure understated with short, rounded nails in a soft nude hue, letting the ring take the center stage.

Experts have weighed in on the extraordinary ring, estimating its worth and significance.

Ann Grimmett, Jared expert and vice president of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, estimated that the diamond weighs around six carats and is valued at approximately $225,000, People reported.

“Selena Gomez’s engagement ring is fitting for a talent as rare as hers given less than 5% of diamonds are marquise," Grimmett said in a press release.

"The shape represents that what’s old is new again, with a history dating back to the 18th century, but also represents the trend to elongated fancies that we have seen growing rapidly over the past few years," Grimmett added.

Selena Gomez’s announcement wasn’t just about the ring—it also gave fans a peek into the heartwarming proposal.

One photo showed the 'Only Murders in the Building' star sitting outdoors on a beige picnic blanket surrounded by cozy touches - additional blankets, a picnic basket, and a romantic spread.

But, the standout detailing was the multiple boxes of Taco Bell, a nod to Gomez’s well-known love for the fast-food chain.
