LONDON, ENGLAND: A recent social media post by Sharon Osbourne has once again set off alarm bells among fans, who are deeply worried about how thin she looks.

In an Instagram video where the 72-year-old TV icon defended husband Ozzy Osbourne’s classic Black Sabbath anthem 'War Pigs', the former 'X Factor' judge appeared visibly gaunt, wearing a loose blue sweater and cream trousers that accentuated her alarmingly thin figure.

The video, captioned “Perception vs Reality,” was meant to clear up the meaning behind the 1970 track, with Sharon insisting it was “against and not in support of war.” But fans couldn't help but notice her shrinking frame.

Concerned fans flooded the comments section, with one writing, "She looks ill, poor thing."

Another lamented, "Sharon, I love you, but you are way too thin," and someone else pleaded, "Please stop losing weight, you are beautiful. No more botox and fillers."

"She looks sick... is she OK🙏," one fan asked, while another concerned admirer wrote, "I don't nean to be rude but Sharon u look ill u have lost too much weight please look after yourself."

This isn’t the first time Sharon’s weight has sparked public concern.

Sharon Osbourne said she 'can't put on weight' because of Ozempic use

Sharon Osbourne was one of the first celebs to openly admit to using Ozempic, the diabetes medication that quickly became Hollywood’s favorite weight-loss shortcut. She started the injections in December 2022 and was initially thrilled with the results. But things spiraled.

By November 2023, she told Howie Mandel on his podcast that she had quit the drug, but the after-effects still haunt her. “I can’t put on weight now, and I don’t know what it’s done to my metabolism,” she confessed. “But I just can’t seem to put any on, because I think I went too far.”

By February 2024, she revealed to The Guardian that she had lost “three stone [42 lbs] in four months. Too much.” The pounds may have melted off, but regaining them has proven impossible.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Sharon admitted she was “frustrated” with her ongoing weight struggles.

“Now, I weigh just over 7st [98 lbs]. I need to put on 10 lbs, but however much I eat, I stay the same weight," she said. "I've had enough. I've given up on all interventions. I couldn't have much more facial surgery — there's not that much skin left to stretch, pull, or cut. And I won't have any more fillers or Botox."

"I don't think I'll ever be happy with the way I look. But I'm now satisfied. It's taken years for me to say this, but I've learned my lesson. This is me. It's finally time to leave well alone," Sharon insisted.

Sharon Osbourne's candid discussions on Ozempic and its aftermath

In March 2024, Sharon Osbourne returned to British reality TV with 'Celebrity Big Brother', where she was reunited with her old 'X Factor' mate Louis Walsh. But her thin frame couldn’t be ignored — and Sharon didn’t shy away from addressing it on the show.

“The doctors can’t figure it out,” she told housemates. “But I think it’s just because I’m getting older, and as you get older, you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.”

She also admitted that jumping on the Ozempic trend wasn’t exactly a well-thought-out decision. “Everyone was doing it," she noted.

Sharon also opened up about her lifelong battle with weight in one heart-to-heart with 'Coronation Street' actor Colson Smith. “People who don’t have to worry about weight have no idea what it’s like. At one point, I was 230lb. It’s a killer,” she shared.

And on 'Loose Women' earlier that year, Sharon admitted that although she doesn’t regret using Ozempic, the aftermath hasn’t been easy.

“I don’t regret it. Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now.’ The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really. I lost over 40 lbs. If I could, I would put back another 10," she explained.

Over the years, Sharon has undergone a host of procedures — including a gastric band, full facelift, tummy tuck, an eyelift, breast implants, abdominoplasty, and Botox.

But despite the scrutiny, criticism, and the lingering effects of Ozempic, she is grounded in gratitude. “I’m just an ordinary person who got lucky, and I didn’t take advantage of that,” she shared. “I never want to forget I am blessed and been really lucky in my life."
