Suited Prince George looks spitting image of young Prince William at Sandringham Church service
SANDRINGHAM, ENGLAND: Eagle-eyed royal enthusiasts have once again drawn comparisons between Prince George and his father, Prince William.
As per Daily Mail, the young royal stepped out for the annual Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on December 25, and it was George’s striking resemblance to his father that had royal watchers abuzz.
Prince George channels Prince William’s iconic 1993 look at Christmas Day Service
The Prince of Wales, 41, attended the cherished family tradition alongside his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
Prince George’s Christmas Day ensemble marked a shift from his previous appearances, where he usually sported a blazer.
This year, he opted for a longer-length navy coat paired with a white shirt, dark tie, and trousers—a formal and polished look.
It was especially when the young prince debuted a long coat reminiscent of William's iconic look from 1993. The outfit immediately evoked memories of Prince William’s appearance at the same event in 1993 when he, too, wore a similar coat at age 11.

The similarities between father and son didn’t stop at their wardrobe choices.
Photos of William as a child reveal the same bright smile and neatly parted hair that George now exhibits.
When paired with their nearly identical attire, the likeness was reportedly impossible to ignore.

While Prince George’s outfit stole the show, his siblings also embraced the occasion with their sophisticated attire.
Prince Louis, known for his cheeky antics, wore a similarly smart ensemble, marking a departure from his previous more casual looks.
Princess Charlotte, as always, charmed the crowd in her perfectly tailored coat, echoing her mother’s timeless elegance.
The Wales family walked alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Princess Royal, Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Prince Edward and Sophie.
Camilla and Kate Middleton coordinated in stunning emerald green coats, with Kate’s look designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.
The Christmas Day service at Sandringham is a cherished royal tradition, and the 2024 event was no exception.
Well-wishers lined the pathway from Sandringham House to the church, with some arriving the night before to catch a glimpse of 'The Firm'.
The service, conducted by Reverend Canon Dr Paul Rhys Williams, featured beloved hymns such as 'O Come, All Ye Faithful' and 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing'.
The King and Queen led the procession, while Prince William shared his joy earlier in the week about spending Christmas with 45 family members, allegedly “all in one room.”
