Taylor Swift, Khloe Kardashian and more stars turned down roles in Jennifer Lopez film ‘This Is Me…Now’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift was reportedly asked to be a part of the highly-publicized Jennifer Lopez movie, ‘This Is Me... Now’.
But the pop sensation did not accept the offer. It is, however, not clear what role Swift was offered to play.
Khloe Kardashian was also offered a part
Entertainment Weekly, while citing a behind-the-scenes documentary — ‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told’ — reported that not just the Grammy-winner singer but stars like Jason Momoa, Ariana Grande, Khloe Kardashian, Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, and Jennifer Coolidge were also approached to be part of the musical film.
However, due to some reason or the other, they could not associate themselves with the project.

It has been said that the makers of the film tried to rope in Vanessa Hudgens for the role of Lopez’s one of the friends but that also did not materialize.

Jennifer Lopez’s film still includes several big stars
However, the movie still includes a plethora of famous celebrities, like Kim Petras, Jane Fonda, Post Malone, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Keke Palmer, and Jenifer Lewis.
Lopez said, as reported by the publication, “They were giving me a list of all these amazing people, and I was like, 'Yes, I like all of those people, but that's not what I want'."
“My first people were Jenifer Lewis and Jane Fonda, and they were like, 'Wait, we don't get it. This is like music. This is young'," she revealed.
The 54-year-old singer continued, “And I was like, 'No. This is a council of people who I want to be very diverse. I want all different kinds of people'."
“These are people with all different personality traits from all different walks of life. But they all have something that affected me in some way — their philosophy on life, on love, on the universe, on music. That was the list that I made.”
Jennifer Lopez talks leap of faith
The ‘Shotgun Wedding’ actress further reportedly shared, “The casting director and the other producers came in and they were like, 'How about this person? This person's not available.' And they started saying all these people.”
“If you see me sitting there, that's not what I want. What I want is people who represent a certain thing, who could understand what I'm trying to do here,” she revealed.

Lopez then added, “And that's what it took, because they needed to trust me, and at the end of the day. I think it was a big leap of faith for some of them.”
Ben Affleck learns to compromise for JLo
This came as Lopez’s husband Ben Affleck in the documentary shared that he did not like his romance with the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker played out on social media.
The actor reportedly said, “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like, you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’”

“We’re just two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise,” Affleck stated.
