MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon brought his signature humor to the forefront with a lively monologue that playfully tackled recent aviation mishaps, including a Boeing 747 engine fire in Miami and Spirit Airlines' financial struggles.

Fallon's comedic commentary not only entertained his audience but also shed light on the lighter side of challenging situations.

Jimmy Fallon hilarious take on recent aviation incidents

The monologue kicked off with Fallon addressing the Boeing engine fire incident in Miami, assuring the audience that everyone was okay.

His humorous take on the situation -- "It’s good they’re branching out instead of getting pigeonholed as exploding-doors people," immediately set the tone for a comedic exploration of recent aviation events, prompting laughter from the crowd.

Fallon continued with a comedic spin on the tough times Boeing has faced lately. Quoting the imaginary woes of the aircraft manufacturer, he humorously said, "Do you know what it’s like to watch all of your work fall apart and go up in flames?"

The punchline that followed, involving Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, added an extra layer of amusement, with Fallon impersonating DeSantis responding with a chuckle, "Yes. Yes, I do," drawing cheers and applause from the audience.

The late-night host then delved into the dramatic details of the plane's emergency landing, describing it as bouncing up and down and spitting out fireballs.

Fallon seamlessly transitioned to another aviation headline, discussing Spirit Airlines' financial woes after a failed merger with JetBlue.

With a comedic flair, he warned, "Keep in mind that the pilot hasn’t been paid since last June," evoking laughter from the crowd.

The mention of Spirit Airlines' staggering $1 billion debt set the stage for a landing fee joke as Fallon turned his attention to Congress's timely passage of a spending bill to avert a government shutdown, wrapping up the monologue.
