Referring to the Netflix series based on Delvey's life, Spelling added, "I liked the human and took everything else away," as per OK! Magazine.

The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star revealed her unexpected bond with the controversial person. Spelling even acknowledged the "fake heiress's" dancing talent, despite the public's perception of Delvey's past.

She mentioned that Delvey's dancing partner, Ezra Sosa, had voiced his support for her and expressed heartbreak over her unfavorable response. Reflecting on her brief evolution, Spelling, who was ousted the same night as Delvey, said, "Honestly, I loved every second of this experience. The ballroom gave me such a new take on life and such joy that I wanted to keep going."

In contrast to Spelling's feeling of accomplishment, her new friend Delvey reacted enticingly to being omitted from Season 33. She stirred up controversy and received criticism from judges and spectators when she claimed to have gained "nothing" from the experience.

In reaction to Delvey's scathing remarks on elimination, Spelling said that while some found her response "offensive," it was "on brand" for her dry sense of humor.

Tori Spelling responds to Anna Delvey' 'nothing' remark on 'DWTS' elimination

Delvey, a competitor renowned for being the "Fake Heiress," has become a popular topic of conversation during this season of 'DWTS' because of her shady ways of tricking wealthy socialites. The TV series 'Inventing Anna' on Netflix further memorialized her crime spree.

Due to her criminal history, Delvey's casting caused controversy; however, her remarks on the show upon elimination drew criticism. When asked what she gained by being on the show, her response was "Nothing."

Delvey even reiterated her one-word response during an appearance on 'Good Morning America.' When asked what her favorite component of the show was, Delvey replied: "Being eliminated."

In response to Delvey's remarks, Spelling shared her thoughts on the show and her experience there on Wednesday's (September 25) 'misSpelling' podcast. "That's her sense of humor," Spelling remarked in referring to Delvey's response.

"That's very on brand for her. I feel like people were offended and that it had nothing to do with Dancing With The Stars. It's just that she has a very dry sense of humor," as per Newsweek.
