On Saturday, he shared his disappointment about a recent game on X, tweeting to his teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, "Really thought the Bearcats were gonna find a way to win that one at the end..." followed by the acronym for "shaking my head."

In response, Mahomes sent a GIF of Raider Red, the Texas Tech University mascot, playfully reminding Kelce that the Texas Tech Red Raiders had triumphed over the Cincinnati Bearcats, Kelce’s team, with a score of 44-41.

Throughout the day, Kelce appeared focused on enjoying the college football game with his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, refraining from mentioning his girlfriend or the leaked contract that suggested their 'PR relationship' would conclude on September 28.
