NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a strange turn of events, unearthed footage has surfaced showing Sean 'Diddy' Combs in an awkward on-stage interaction with fellow rap icon Jay-Z.

The video, from the 2007 Screamfest music festival, captured the moment when Diddy, surrounded by TI, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z, slapped the latter's bottom twice.

50 Cent revives feud with Diddy by sharing controversial video clip

Sharing the video on Instagram in a since-deleted post, 50 Cent commented, "Diddy in the back, pattin on n***as butts. Nah I ain't wit it, I ain't never been wit it."

The clip, which originally resurfaced earlier this year, was weaponized by 50 Cent amid his long-standing feud with Diddy.

Diddy's odd gesture towards Jay-Z, however, did not provoke much of a reaction from him, leaving fans puzzled by the encounter.

50 Cent's feud with Diddy began nearly a decade ago, stemming from a 2006 diss track titled 'The Bomb',  as per The Mirror.

In the track, 50 Cent implied—without evidence—that Diddy knew the identity of the killer of Christopher Wallace, popularly known as The Notorious B.I.G., who was gunned down in Los Angeles in March 1997. This accusation ignited a long-running conflict between the two.

The resurfacing of this footage comes at a time when Diddy is under intense scrutiny following his arrest on September 16.

Diddy indicted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges after FBI raid

Last week, Diddy was indicted in New York on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.

The charges were the result of a six-month investigation that culminated in federal authorities raiding his Los Angeles and Miami mansions.

During the raids, over 1,000 bottles of baby oil were reportedly found—items that prosecutors allege were linked to Diddy’s infamous "freak offs."

The indictment has cast a shadow over Diddy's career and brought renewed attention to his past interactions with various celebrities.

Among these is an eyebrow-raising moment from a 2011 appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show'.

During the interview, Diddy expressed a desire to invite Prince William and Prince Harry to his notorious "Diddy parties," reflecting on a time when he hoped to spend time with them "before when they were young bucks growing up and they were getting in a lot of trouble themselves."

Bieber, who began his career at the age of 15 under Diddy's wing, has been seen in several resurfaced clips appearing visibly uncomfortable around the music mogul.

This has fueled fan speculation about the nature of their past relationship, particularly in light of Diddy's legal troubles.
