NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Laura Ingraham issued an apology on the evening of March 15 for a graphic error that mistakenly identified attorney Terrence Bradley as Nathan Wade.

Wade recently resigned from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ team while Terrence Bradley is Wade’s former law partner and divorce attorney.

Notably, both Bradley and Wade are African American and are connected to the controversy surrounding Willis’ management of the election interference case against Donald Trump.

The erroneous graphic, displayed during Ingraham's opening monologue, shows Willis and Bradley on opposite sides of a broken heart, with Judge Scott McAfee, who presided over the case, at the center.

Wade, who had a romantic relationship with Willis, chose to step down after Judge McAfee's decision on March 15.

McAfee had ordered Wade to either disqualify himself from the case or Willis would have to withdraw from it.

Laura Ingraham said the network was 'sorry' for the mistake (@FoxNews/YouTube)

It was only during the midpoint of her show on March 15 that Ingraham openly addressed and admitted the mistake.

“Now a note about a graphic we showed at the top of the show. It was supposed to be Fani Willis and Nathan Wade but accidentally we broadcast Terrence Bradley. That was obviously not intentional,” Ingraham said.

“We made a mistake and we are sorry for that."

The network has a history of on-air errors, such as mistakenly including a photo of Patti Labelle in an Aretha Franklin tribute in 2018 and displaying a map of the Middle East labeling Iraq as Egypt.

Fox News faces backlash over graphic error in Fani Willis case coverage

Following the occurrence, social media users flocked to various platforms to convey their views on the graphic error.

One viewer wrote, "Fox News viewers won’t be able to tell the difference."

"We can’t tell non-whites apart. “Sorry." said another viewer taking a diss at Fox News.

"Aaah. The good ole misidentification of a person of color," another viewer noted.

"It’s not our fault that we actively treat minorities as unimportant and beneath us, even though this is a direct result of that attitude," one comment read.

"Translation: All black men look the same to us at FOX," read another comment.

"Wrong black guy, Laura," said one person.

"Fox News is slip sliding away," observed another person.
