LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Finn Wolfhard, the breakout star from the hit Netflix show 'Stranger Things,' recently gave a brutally honest assessment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In a candid interview with Vanity Fair, the 21-year-old actor didn't shy away from voicing his disinterest in joining the MCU, citing the recent "mid" performances of the franchise's films as the primary reason.

Finn Wolfhard confesses that he's not interested in a Marvel role

During the interview, Wolfhard, attached to a lie detector, confessed to a declining interest in the MCU. When questioned if he had ever desired a role in a Marvel film, the actor admitted, "Yes. In the past, yes."

However, his stance shifted drastically when prompted about recent MCU movies' quality, characterizing them as "mid." Subsequently asked if he had lost interest in joining the franchise due to this perception, Wolfhard simply replied with an unequivocal "Yes."

Despite his meteoric rise in Hollywood, starring in popular projects with A-listers, Wolfhard believes his involvement wouldn't substantially impact the quality of MCU movies. He stated, "Do I believe that I would save the Marvel franchise alone as an actor? No."
