SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: The Biden administration's apparent program of flying hundreds of thousands of unvetted migrants into the US has triggered a firestorm of controversy, with tech billionaire Elon Musk raising alarming comparisons to the 9/11 attacks.

The Tesla CEO made explosive claims on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), accusing the White House of "importing voters and creating a national security threat," as per Daily Mail.

Elon Musk launches scathing attack after revelation of Biden administration's covert operation

Slamming the move of the Biden administration, Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to write, "This administration is both importing voters and creating a national security threat from unvetted illegal immigrants."

"It is highly probable that the groundwork is being laid for something far worse than 9/11. Just a matter of time," cautioned the tech mogul, sharing a Daily Mail report on the covert operation.

The controversy erupted after lawyers representing the Biden administration's immigration agencies acknowledged flying 320,000 undocumented immigrants into the country but refused to disclose their identities or destinations, citing potential national security "vulnerabilities."

This admission came amid the record-breaking numbers of migrants crossing the southern border, exacerbating concerns about the administration's handling of the immigration crisis.

Customs and Border Protection apparently approved the secretive flights transporting illegal immigrants to the US

According to a Freedom of Information lawsuit filed by the Center for Immigration Studies, the Customs and Border Protection approved the secretive flights, transporting hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from foreign countries into at least 43 different American airports between January and December 2023.

The flights were facilitated by the CBP One app, which allowed migrants to apply for asylum from their home countries under the Biden administration's expansive immigration policies.

Internet swiftly criticizes Elon Musk for his 9/11 rhetoric

In response to Musk's statements, netizens swiftly criticized him for his rhetoric regarding migrants, especially as he brought up the Osama Bin Laden-led 9/11 attacks, which resulted in the deaths of 2,977 individuals.

One pointed out, "9/11 wasn’t caused by illegal immigrants. We all want a secure border and nobody is 'importing voters' AND illegal immigrants can’t vote in federal elections."

Another remarked, "Soon Elon will be writing about lizards & UFO," and a person questioned, "Spreading fear is what you bought Twitter for?"

"Why do you blow everything out of proportion with speculation?! Comparing illegal immigration to 9/11 is ridiculous," expressed someone else, while an individual added, "You're fear-mongering, Elon. Your fear-mongering and feeding the far-right the narratives they want to hear."

One more remarked, "Once upon a time before Elmo bought Twitter, spreading election-related lies would have got you to temporary timeout!!! Now anything goes, and this platform is weaponized against the American people with disinformation!!!"
