Jason Kelce says he's trying to motivate his wife Kylie to wear Chiefs gear ‘but she just refuses’
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Jason Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center, opened up about his wife Kylie’s loyalty to the Birds on the 'New Heights' podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Kylie, a Philadelphia native, refused to wear any Chiefs gear even when her brother-in-law was playing in the Super Bowl 2024.
Kylie Kelce gets love from Eagles fans for snubbing Chiefs gear
Jason Kelce said that Kylie receives praise from the Eagles fans for sticking to her team and not wearing any Chiefs apparel despite having family ties to the rival team.
“Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections,” Jason Kelce said according to PageSix.
“She just does not want to do it,” Jason said, adding that he tried to convince her that it was okay to cheer for Travis since the Chiefs were not playing against the Eagles.
“We have family in the game. It’s okay to cheer on that team. They’re not playing the Eagles," Jason told his wife Kylie, adding "You realize this isn’t against the Eagles, right?”
“But she just refuses," he continued.

Travis Kelce jokes about Kylie’s college choices
Travis, who won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, did not take offense at his sister-in-law’s decision, but he did poke fun at her for wearing a University of Cincinnati sweater at the Super Bowl.
Travis and Jason both played for the Cincinnati Bearcats in college, but Kylie attended Cabrini University.
“I get it man. She doesn’t seem to care about uh, Cabrini, her college. She’ll wear University of Cincinnati. She’ll wear other universities but she won’t wear other NFL teams,” Jason explained.
Jason said with her look Kylie “was definitely supporting Trav" at Super Bowl.
Kylie Kelce says she can’t wear Chiefs stuff
Kylie Kelce confirmed her stance to USA Today Sports for not wearing Chiefs gear, saying, “I mean, I just can’t do it."
"I will cheer on Travis every single day of the week, forever, but I won’t wear Chiefs stuff,” she said.
Travis also gave a sweet shout-out to Kylie's outfit, “Don’t you f**k around with my fandom over the Birds."
"I respect it, Ky. I appreciate you even wearing red. You know, you could’ve worn something neutral and just showed your support. You showing up was enough for me,” Travis said.
