LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez, the 54-year-old pop sensation, is eagerly anticipating the commencement of her comeback tour ‘This is Me… Now.’

Despite rumors of poor sales and show cancellations, the ‘All I Have’ singer is excited to meet her fans at the concerts, according to sources.

Jennifer Lopez's 'This is Me... Now' tour kicks off in June

The North American tour, which is set to kick off next month on June 26, 2024, has been the subject of much speculation.

Reports suggested that Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, had proposed canceling all 30 dates due to low sales. However, the pop princess was insistent that the tour proceed as planned, as Mirror reports.

There were talks about “multiple options” for the tour, a source revealed to the publication.

The decision to not cancel the shows was made collectively by everyone involved - the organizers, the talent, and the management.

“There were discussions regarding multiple options pertaining to the tour, but ultimately it was agreed on by everyone involved that the tour would remain on course," the source revealed.

"Jennifer is looking forward to the tour starting and seeing her fans at the shows," the source added.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's love story

The tour was arranged after JLO’s manager Benny Medina encouraged her to retell her love story with her husband Ben Affleck. The couple rekindled their romance in 2021, almost 20 years after calling off their engagement.

The complementary musical film 'This is Me … Now: A Love Story'  has one component of a self-financed $20 million three-part multimedia project on Amazon's 'The Greatest Love Story Never Told.' It follows her reuniting with now-husband Ben Affleck after decades apart.

”Now I feel like because Ben and I have rediscovered each other — and now that we’re married — I have something to offer. This is the defining piece of work that’s going to close that chapter so I can move on to the next part of my life," Lopez told Variety of the documentary in February.
