The article, titled ‘The Blue Origin flight showcased the utter defeat of American feminism’, written by columnist Moira Donegan said, “The flight, which was promoted for months in advance, was touted as a triumph of feminism, a win for science and an embrace of the kind of expansive, curious human spirit of striving and possibility that once animated both.”

Jessica Chastain shares pp-ed calling Blue Origin ‘a testament to the corruption’
“Instead, the flight served as a kind of perverse funeral for the America that once enabled both scientific advancement and feminist progress – a spectacle that mocked these aspirations by appropriating them for such an indulgent and morally hollow purpose,” the author claimed.
Donegan also thrashed the aerospace firm, owned by Jeff Bezos, as she deemed it “a testament to the corruption and circumscribed possibilities of the profit motive run amok.”

Though Chastain did not herself say anything about the Monday adventure, her posting the link to the article showed her disapproval of the space mission.

Before Chastain, Olivia Munn had also expressed her frustration at the voyage even before the flight took off.
Olivia Munn questions all-female Blue Origin flight's objective
She said, as per Page Six, "I know this probably isn’t the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now. What are you guys gonna do up in space? What are you doing up there?"
The actress even questioned all the buzz about it as she added, "If you wanna go to space, why do you need to tell us about it, you know?” Munn asked. “It’s just like, go up there, have a good time, come on down."
Olivia Wilde was also not impressed with the star-studded all-female flight as she posted on her Instagram Story, "Billion dollars bought some good memes I guess."

Others who showed their anger were Emily Ratajkowski, Amy Schumer, and the fast-food chain Wendy’s.
Netizens label Blue Origin all-female crew expedition ‘a stunt and a travesty’

While Jessica Chastain called out the all-women Blue Origin crew, many social media users shared their thoughts below the ‘Interstellar’ actress’ tweet.
An X user shared, “YUP!!! and gotta stop calling them an all female ‘crew’ - they took an 11 min girls trip to “space” and called it feminism. all while supporting a billionaire who is avoiding the taxes that could pay for climate conservation.. no logic.”
