Justin Bieber unfollows ex Selena Gomez's fiance Benny Blanco among other stars on Instagram: Report

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber reportedly went on an unusual marathon on Monday, February 17, as he unfollowed many people on Instagram, including his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez's fiance, Benny Blanco.

The Mirror citing fans reported that besides Blanco, other celebrities who were unfollowed by the ‘Baby’ singer were Drake, JD Vance, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, The Weeknd, SB Projects, and Diplo.

Not only that, Bieber also disassociated himself from Scooter Braun's entertainment and media company on social media.

Though the Canadian singer has not issued any statement regarding his recent activity, many are questioning his decision to unfollow Blanco as they were quite close once.

In the past, the two collaborated on several of Bieber's biggest tracks, like ‘Eenie Meenie’, ‘Love Yourself’, ‘Cold Water’, and ‘Lonely’, as per HELLO!

The 36-year-old record producer had even hailed Bieber for not being like “cookie-cutter pop artists” during a Zach Sang interview.

However, lately it's been speculated that Blanco’s engagement with Gomez led to issues between the two men.

The ‘Beauty and a Beat’ hitmaker reportedly got “offended” when Blanco allegedly ended things with him after his association with the actress.

“Justin is pretty offended by the fact that Benny totally cut him out of his life when he got together with Selena. They used to be great friends, so it came as a huge shock, especially since Justin would love nothing more than to put all the bad blood with Selena behind him,” an insider said, as per In Touch Weekly.

The same insider also noted that Bieber wanted to have a cordial relationship with the new couple, but he always received "passive-aggressive shots" from them on social media.

They claimed, “He's sure that if he was pulling stunts and going online attention seeking, he'd get slammed for it, but somehow Selena and Benny seem to get away with it.”

“[Justin has] tried so many times to make peace with them and get past the BS, but they just won't let it go, and he's now saying good riddance. He thinks they’re lame and immature, and he’s not going to bother trying to be friendly anymore,” the source added.

Earlier, the ‘Sorry’ singer left people shocked when he unfollowed his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram.

Later, he posted on Instagram Story, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S**t is getting suss out here.” 

But Bieber refrained from saying anything about unfollowing his father-in-law, Stephen Baldwin.
