Kelly Rowland left 'Today' over Savanna Guthrie's 'aggressive' questions about Beyonce, insider claims
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kelly Rowland has drawn criticism on social media following a report that said she abruptly canceled her guest hosting gig on 'Today' because she was unhappy with the dressing room.
According to new reports, Rowland left the show because of Savannah Guthrie's "disrespect" toward her.
Guthrie is said to have "aggressively" questioned Rowland about Beyonce instead of inquiring about the singer's purpose for being there, which was to promote her new movie 'Mea Culpa'.

Kelly Rowland reportedly 'felt disrespected' by Savannah Guthrie
An insider revealed to The Wrap on Wednesday, February 21, that Rowland left because she felt "disrespected" by the questions Guthrie posed concerning her friend and former bandmate Beyonce.
The insider told the news outlet, "Kelly was offended that Savannah repeatedly and aggressively asked her about Beyonce."
"Kelly was upset about Savannah's aggressive questioning about Beyonce. She and her team were not happy and felt disrespected," the insider added.
Guthrie asked Rowland before she departed the NBC chat series crew, "What do you think about your friend Beyonce?" to which Rowland replied, "I'm so proud of her."
The conversation then shifted to Beyonce's recently revealed album 'Act II'. Guthrie asked Rowland, "Were you surprised and what do you think about it?"
"I'm so proud of her - so happy for her," Rowland retorted.
According to the insider, Rowland and her team are unwilling to participate in an interview that entails discussing Beyonce and Destiny's Child because she wants to move on with her career and "wants to leave that behind."
Over the past few days, there had been rumors circulating that Rowland, 43, was unhappy with her dressing room and chose not to co-host the rest of the 'Today' show with Hoda Kotb, leading British singer Rita Ora to fill in at the last minute.
This week, Kotb seemed to validate the theory when she offered Rowland personal use of her dressing room the next time she appears on the show.
However, the insider insisted that Rowland's exit had nothing to do with the dressing room accommodations.
They declared, "The story was spun that Kelly didn't like her dressing room, but she has been on the Today show numerous times, she and her team know the dressing room set up. That would not come as a surprise at all."
Separate sources, however, told TMZ that Rowland's exit was because of the show's dressing rooms, which were referred to as "dumpy, glorified closets."
Savannah Guthrie unbothered amid rumors about Kelly Rowland's exit
Savannah Guthrie attended an event in New York City on Wednesday, February 21, with her coworkers from 'Today', Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush-Hager, seemingly unfazed by the ongoing controversy surrounding Kelly Rowland.
52-year-old Guthrie seemed upbeat during a signing for her latest book, 'Mostly What God Does: Reflections on Seeking and Finding His Love Everywhere', which was held at Peoplehood, as per Daily Mail.
The TV journalist was accompanied at the event by her 55-year-old husband Michael Feldman along with their daughter Vale, 9, and son Charley, 7.
Guthrie looked stunning at the event, wearing a white pantsuit, an open-toe shoe, a white handbag, and a floral-patterned blouse. She kept her dark blonde hair down as she took part in the proceedings.
