BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner ventured far from her beauty mogul empire and reality TV fame to stand by her boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet, as he celebrated his Golden Globes nomination for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in 'A Complete Unknown.'

The event ended up being quite awkward and uncomfortable for the 27-year-old as no one but only three actresses mingled with her, as per The US Sun.

Kylie Jenner’s 'tense and awkward' Golden Globes night

While Timothee Chalamet, one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors, was the center of attention, receiving praise from icons like Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Hugh Grant, Kylie Jenner appeared to struggle with fitting into the high-profile crowd.

According to an eyewitness, Jenner experienced a tense and awkward evening as she was largely overlooked by the star-studded attendees who came to greet Chalamet and his co-stars, Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro.

"Kylie seemed very uncomfortable all night, just so tense and awkward. You’d see brief moments where she connected with Timothee or bonded with the girls at her table," the source shared.

They added, "But everyone was coming up constantly to talk to Elle and Timothee. No one knew who Kylie was, and if they did, they basically didn’t acknowledge her."

Despite her efforts to remain poised, Jenner’s discomfort was evident. In one particularly awkward moment caught on camera, Moore approached the table during a commercial break to congratulate Fanning but seemingly snubbed Jenner.

The clip shows 'The Kardashians' star attempting to join the conversation, shouting "Congrats!" toward Moore, who briefly acknowledges her with a quick "Thank You" before turning back to Fanning.

Jenner’s expression fell as she shuffled in her chair and looked down at her phone while Chalamet engaged with Moore.

Dakota Fanning's fangirl moment provided relief to Kylie Jenner

Amid the cold reception, there was one silver lining for Kylie Jenner — an interaction with Dakota Fanning.

The 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' actress, a self-proclaimed reality TV fan "fangirled" over the Kylie Cosmetics founder, creating a rare moment of camaraderie during the tense evening.

"The only person all night who got really excited to see Kylie was Dakota Fanning. She had a fangirl moment when she saw Kylie, and they talked for a moment," the insider revealed.

Throughout the evening, Chalamet appeared to do his best to support Jenner. However, as one of the night’s most celebrated attendees, his attention was often pulled elsewhere.

"Timothee did his best to include her, but there’s only so much he can do when he’s the most in-demand guy of the night and most others in the room don’t want anything to do with her," the source explained.

Although she opted to skip the red carpet, Jenner still turned heads in an ultra-low-cut vintage Versace silver gown that showcased her signature style. Her glamorous look stood out, even as she remained in the background for much of the evening.

She shared her ensemble on her Instagram, writing, "Cuuutest night w the cutest girls in a little 1999 versace."

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's 'very serious' romance

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have kept their romance largely out of the spotlight since they began dating in early 2023.

The pair first made headlines with a public appearance at Beyonce's Los Angeles concert in September 2023, followed by a PDA-filled date at the US Open in New York.

Despite the challenges of blending their vastly different worlds, sources say the couple’s relationship is serious.

"Timothee and Kylie are in a very serious relationship and could wind up as husband and wife," an insider previously told The US Sun.

"The reality TV component of this relationship is something Timmy and his team have been careful about, but to put it bluntly, he's scared s**tless of being on a reality show, even with the world-class producing team The Kardashians have behind him," another source told the outlet.
