Macaulay Culkin reveals emotional reaction to brother Kieran's Oscar win after he left him out of speech

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Macaulay Culkin had a heartfelt reaction to his younger brother Kieran’s big night at the 2025 Academy Awards.
The 'Succession' star took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and while Kieran Culkin forgot to mention his famous sibling in his speech, Macaulay wasn’t the least bit bothered.

Macaulay Culkin in tears after brother Kieran’s Oscar win
📌 Brenda Song, Macaulay Culkin, and Tan France discuss the Oscars, only watching Best Supporting Actor, and Kieran Culkin obviously was winning because he was front row end seat. “He’s busy, he’s Academy Award winner Kieran Culkin!”

"I cried," the 'Home Alone' icon, 44, admitted to red carpet correspondent Tan France while arriving at the Vanity Fair afterparty with his fiancee Brenda Song, 36.
But when it came to watching the full ceremony, Macaulay kept it short and sweet.
"Just Best Supporting Actor, that’s the only thing I watched. True story, true story," the 'Entergalactic' voice actor confessed. "And I was like, ‘I’m gonna see you later'," he added.
Kieran, 42, had already swept award season, winning a Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA, and SAG Award for his role as an emotionally troubled young man traveling through Poland in 'A Real Pain'.
So was his Oscar win a surprise to his family? Not at all.
"Come on, let’s be real. We’re allowed to say that," said Brenda Song, standing by her future brother-in-law’s inevitable victory.
"Yeah, absolutely," Macaulay added, pointing out the telltale sign of a sure win, "He was seated front row, aisle, closest to the stage. There was no way he was not going to win."
But would the Culkin brothers be reuniting for a celebration? Macaulay wasn’t so sure. "I don’t know, he’s a busy man!" he joked, adding, "He’s Academy Award-winning actor Kieran Culkin!"
Kieran Culkin teases wife about baby No 4 in hilarious Oscars speech
Kieran Culkin may have forgotten to give a shout-out to Macaulay, but he did take a moment during his speech to make a public appeal to his wife, Jazz Charton.
The couple, who already share two children, had a deal in place- one that just got a major upgrade.

"About a year ago I was on a stage like this, and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from her because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid," Kieran recalled to the audience.
"Turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win, but she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar'," he revealed, as cameras cut to Charton’s stunned reaction.

he said his wife had no faith that he'd ever win an Emmy, so she jokingly promised him a 3rd kid if he won. and last year she said they'd have a 4th if he ever won an Oscar. well, he just won Best Supporting Actor pic.twitter.com/MmWFI8sNBe
Kieran, never one to shy away from a moment, sealed the deal in front of millions: "I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again, and let’s get crackin’ on those kids. What do you say?"
Charton had already hinted that she might have underestimated her husband’s award-winning streak.
