Olivia Culpo opens up about motherhood and childbirth
“Best birthday gift Baby #2 coming soon,” Culpo captioned a joint Instagram post featuring photos of the couple enjoying a picnic with their daughter, Colette, and their dog, Oliver. A strip of sonogram images was also displayed on their picnic basket.
Later, the couple shared a video capturing the moment they discovered Culpo was pregnant and how they broke the news to their families that they were going to become parents for the second time.
For those unaware, the couple announced their daughter's birth in a joint Instagram post in July 2025.
The post featured black-and-white photos of the couple with their newborn shortly after her birth. Culpo later shared a few colorful photos from the special day on her Instagram account.
She described childbirth as “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”
“There’s totally a shift,” she said of motherhood during an episode of The Squeeze podcast. “Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you. So I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it’s scary.”
“I’m so grateful that I have my husband because while I’m totally working and I’m doing everything in my power to keep working and I’m so happy to have the opportunities that I have,” she explained.
“Let’s say they all went away, would I have the same ability 10, 12, 15, 20 years ago to light that fire up my butt when I have somebody who really needs me, which is my baby? No.”
“And I would choose my baby 10 times over, obviously,” she added.
