Pete Davidson extends $20K olive branch to Colin Jost in a bid to make amends with former ‘SNL’ co-star

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pete Davidson wants to fix his relationship with former ‘Saturday Night Live’ co-star Colin Jost as he reportedly gifted him a Cartier watch, believed to be worth around $20,000, as an olive branch.
The two had a fallout last year but by presenting the expensive gift, the 31-year-old comedian wants to make amends with Jost, as reported by The Sun.
However, what caused the rift between them is not known yet.

Pete Davidson gifted Colin Jost $20K watch after he got out of rehab
The publication also reported that the 42-year-old received the gift from Davidson soon after the latter one got discharged from the rehab over the summer.
A tipster shared, “This gift was a positive gesture that Pete made to Colin just after he got out of rehab.”
This came after a mole in 2024 claimed that the decade-old friendship between the comedians ended and they do not even want to be together at the same time at 30 Rock, the place where the shooting of ‘Saturday Night Live’ happens.
Colin Jost ‘doesn't want to be associated’ with Pete Davidson

The insider at the time revealed, “Pete and Colin can't be in 30 Rock together. Something big happened, and Colin is now refusing to be in the same building, let alone the same room as Pete.”
“Colin doesn't want to be associated with him,” they added.
However, another source claimed that nothing was wrong between them.
They said, “They're both very busy, and don't talk as much as they used to. People move on, they work on other things, and other relationships, and they are just not as close to the people that they once worked with previously.”

However, it was not clear at the time how the duo’s joint purchase of the decommissioned Staten Island ferry in January 2022 had affected them, as per Page Six.
Then in 2023, Jost took to Instagram to slam a headline that read, “Pete Davidson and Colin Jost were ‘very stoned’ when they bought Staten Island ferry.”
In a lengthy post, he wrote, “Is it worse that I was actually stone-cold sober when we bought the ferry? We’re excited to prove the non-believers wrong. You’re going to be BEGGING to get on this ferry in two years. Mark my words.”
“UNRELATED I’m going on a Ferry Money Tour this week and next week. Stand-up in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Minneapolis, Madison and Chicago with some very special guests. Come on by; and I do my own graphic design if you want me to take your brand to new heights I can get you millions," Jost added.
