He then turned his attention to Barbra Streisand who he referred to only by her initials, BS, and criticized her for her public comment about McCarthy’s weight loss and the use of Ozempic, Daily Mail noted.
"A famous legendary singer, BS, made a remark about her weight loss…and was asking if she had used a popular weight loss shot," he continued in the post.
"What a question. I apologize to Melissa for these remarks. And by the way, Melissa you look fabulous! Love, Richard," he concluded the post.

Streisand wrote in a since-deleted comment, “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?” This led to discourse among fans about the appropriateness of her remark.

Streisand later offered an explanation for her comment on her social media, stating, "OMG — I went on Instagram to see the photos we’d posted of the beautiful flowers I’d received for my birthday!" she wrote on X.
"Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album. She looked fantastic! I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world was reading!" she added.
Melissa McCarthy responds to Barbra Streisand’s comment
McCarthy responded to Streisand’s comment with an Instagram post of her own.
In a video posted on the social networking site, she said, "The takeaway? Barbra Streisand knows I exist."
