The 47-year-old star filled his Instagram carousel post with a mix of recent set photos and charming throwbacks, showcasing their joyful moments together, complete with smiles and laughter. The collection also included images of their superhero masks and featured cameos from their 'Deadpool' collaborator and good friend, Shawn Levy.

In the final slide, Reynolds added a black-and-white photo of himself and Jackman leaning into each other, sharing a tender smile. Wrapping up his tribute, the 'Free Guy' star expressed his hopes for the future, he penned in the caption, “I hope we get to do this til we’re 90. Happy Birthday, @thehughjackman.” 

He added, “A lot of years. A lot of adventures.” Reynolds continued his tribute on Instagram Stories, sharing a solo and laughing shot of Jackman set to 'Power to Believe' by The Dream Academy. 

Alongside the photo, he included a quote from 'Raiders of the Lost Ark': “It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage,” and paid homage to one of Jackman’s most iconic roles outside of 'Wolverine', PT Barnum in 'The Greatest Showman'. “Happy Birthday to the one and only, Greatest Showman,” he wrote.
