MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity blasted Jimmy Kimmel by calling him an “unhinged loser” over the late-night show host's remarks seemingly endorsing the widespread vandalism of Tesla vehicles.

Hannity also criticized Disney CEO Bob Iger, questioning whether he was “proud” of Kimmel’s remarks.

During his March 20 broadcast, Sean Hannity blasted Jimmy Kimmel’s recent monologue, in which the ABC host sarcastically addressed the vandalism of Tesla vehicles.

The conservative commentator did not mince words. “Bob Iger, you’re the CEO of Disney. Are you proud of this?” Hannity asked.

“Jimmy Kimmel is an unhinged loser. You see the ratings every day. We all see the ratings every day. He’s, you know, pretending to be woke, compassionate while cheering for, you know, those that are involved in these actions against Tesla,” Hannity added.

Hannity framed Kimmel’s words as an example of hypocrisy, highlighting what he sees as a contrast between Kimmel’s past calls for compassion and his sarcastic quips about Tesla’s struggles.

Jimmy Kimmel under fire over Tesla stock drop joke

Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue on the night of March 18 centered around Tesla’s stock drop, which has been linked to backlash against the company's CEO Elon Musk, his ties to the White House, and his work as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Six minutes into his monologue, Kimmel said, “People have been vandalizing Tesla vehicles. New Tesla vehicles. Please don’t vandalize. Don’t ever vandalize Tesla vehicles.”

His audience cheered at the news, and Kimmel further stoked the reaction with his trademark sarcasm.

Kimmel’s long pause after the statement was met with laughter from the audience.

Hannity viewed this moment as a dangerous endorsement of violence, calling out both Kimmel and Disney’s leadership for allowing such messaging on air.

“Bob, are you okay with this seeming glorification of violence? Is this the inclusive, woke DEI- the ABC Disney brand?” Hannity asked.

Elon Musk fires back at Jimmy Kimmel

Tesla’s outspoken CEO Elon Musk wasted no time in firing back at Jimmy Kimmel. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Musk labeled the comedian “an unfunny jerk.”

Musk’s response further fueled the controversy, with both supporters and critics debating whether Kimmel’s monologue was mere satire or an inappropriate celebration of vandalism.

This latest skirmish is far from the first public spat between Hannity and Kimmel.

In 2018, the two engaged in a heated back-and-forth after Kimmel mocked Melania Trump’s accent, according to USA Today.

However, the feud lasted a full week before Kimmel eventually apologized, acknowledging the divisiveness of their exchange.

“While I admit I did have fun with our back and forth, after some thought, I realize that the level of vitriol from all sides (mine and me included) does nothing good for anyone and, in fact, is harmful to our country," Kimmel admitted, as per The Daily Beast

“Even in 2018, the vile attacks against my wife and wishes for death on my infant son are shocking and I encourage those who made them to give their words and actions thought. I, too, will give my words more thought and recognize my role in inciting their hatefulness,” he added.
