PARIS, FRANCE: Simone Biles was stunned by the outrageous price of a single bottle of champagne at a Paris nightclub.
The Team USA gymnast, who won three gold and one silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, was out enjoying a night with family and friends in the chic 16th arrondissement of Paris after the closing ceremony of the Games.

However, the night took a surprising turn when Biles revealed on TikTok that the club tried to charge her a jaw-dropping $26,000 for a bottle of champagne.
According to Daily Mail, in a candid 'Get Ready With Me' video, the 27-year-old gymnast recounted, "We had closing ceremonies at the Olympics. I went and after that we went out."
"You guys, this club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne. Like, are you insane?" she said, adding, "Obviously, I didn't buy it. But why would you even try to play me like that? Like, that's wild."
"And I don't know, sometimes the attention, I'd rather not have it. I'd rather just be as normal as possible… I don't know."

Simone Biles found herself in hot water last week after a well-intentioned fashion choice turned into a major faux pas.
Reportedly, while attending the Chicago Bears' preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field, Biles proudly wore a custom-made jacket featuring black-and-white images of her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens.
However, her supportive gesture quickly backfired when fans noticed a glaring detail: the photos on her jacket showed Owens in his Green Bay Packers uniform—a serious no-no given the Bears' fierce rivalry with the Packers.
To make matters worse, the jacket prominently displayed the Green Bay Packers logo on the shoulder, further fueling the controversy.
What was meant to be a touching tribute to her husband inadvertently placed Biles in the middle of one of the NFL's most intense rivalries.

With a career total of 11 Olympic medals—7 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze—Biles is now the second most decorated female gymnast in Olympic history, trailing only Larisa Latynina of the Soviet Union, who holds 18 medals. Additionally, Biles remains the most decorated American gymnast ever.
Team USA reported that at 27 years old, she set the record as the oldest gymnast to win the Olympic all-around title and became the first gymnast to win the same individual event (vault) at three consecutive Olympics (2016, 2020, 2024).
