Swifties taunt Violet Grohl over jab at Taylor Swift’s jet usage amid dad Dave's cheating scandal

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Violet Grohl is once again at the receiving end of Swifties's criticisms. 

Ever since the Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl announced the birth of his baby outside his marriage with Jordyn Blum, the 18-year-old daughter of the musician has been taunted online by fans of Taylor Swift.

The recent development has also led many fans to believe that Violet - who is a budding musician herself - has deleted her Instagram fearing a verbal onslaught.

Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet has previously criticized Taylor Swift 

The 55-year-old musician shocked his fans when he announced the birth of his child outside his marriage with his wife of two decades, Jordyn Blum. 

Taking to his Instagram, Grohl announced while admitting infidelity, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful to your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

However, as soon as the musician made the announcement, Swifties - the passionate fan base of the billionaire pop star - taunted Violet about her father’s indiscretion. Some even attributed 'Tayvoodoo' for the fate of Grohl.

Violet previously butted heads with the Swifties when she made a scathing comment about Swift’s private jet usage. 

Violet deleted her social media profiles in January after she criticized Swift for using a private jet to fly to Eras Tour performances.  In a since-deleted tweet, she wrote: "Why can't Taylor Swift just drive like everyone else."

However, the apparent criticism of Swift did not sit well with the fans as they lambasted the teenager including giving her “death” threats allegedly. 

A social media user posted a screenshot of Violet's deleted tweet which had slammed Swift, as they mused if that was the reason that caused Grohl to take a swipe at Swift. 

Dave Grohl accused Taylor Swift of not performing live 

It is not only Violet Grohl who allegedly had a ‘bad blood’ with the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer as even the Foo Fighter frontman took a blatant dig at Taylor Swift during the band’s concerts in London. 

In June, as Swift was performing at Wembley Stadium in the London leg of her Eras Tour, Grohl was performing with Foo Fighters in a different venue in the city as well. 

During one of his performances, he took a dig at the ‘Karma’ singer, when he announced to his audience, “So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f**king errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music right? You came to the right f**king place.”

Though Swift did not directly clap back at his lip-syncing jibe, she appeared to reference Grohl’s words when she announced during her next Eras Tour concert in London, “Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much.”

“And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it,” continued the singer.

Violet Grohl feels the wrath of Swifties

The Internet section was split as several social media users defended Violet Grohl from the scathing criticism. Nevertheless, some incensed users still taunted her for not checking her father's whereabouts.

One of the online trolls said, "Violet Grohl worried about Taylor’s private jet usage when she should’ve been worried about her inheritance being cut in half by her father’s affairs . . . Tayvoodoo at its finest."

"Violet grohl… swifties will always get the last laugh. I promise you," declared one fan of the pop superstar. 

Someone else, meanwhile, defended the teenager, saying, "Like violet grohl deactivated her instagram at the time of the announcement. shes 18. she just found out something that probably would change how she seeing her own father (not to be parasocial) and your first instinct is to make fun of her because she joked about taylor’s jets?!"

Another supporter chimed in, "People are genuinely being so disgusting towards violet grohl. leave her alone. her father literally just destroyed her trust by cheating on her own mother and having a secret child. what is wrong with you people? who cares what she said about taylor swift oh my god."

Another netizen was, however, not so charitable as they taunted, "Lmao violet grohl losing a share of her inheritance and learning her dad is a cheat is exactly what happens when you come for Taylor."

Someone else noted with caution, "The dave grohl situation is not the time to “go after” violet grohl for making comments on taylor’s jet usage!! in fact, there is never a time for that! shes a kid! imagine being a teenager jn that situation and having ADULTS come after YOU saying its karma. be so for real."

Another disgruntled Swiftie referenced Dave Grohl's infidelity while saying, "Oh dont cry violet grohl dont worry youre not getting the foo fighters private plane as inheritance either way."

"Everyone can leave violet grohl alone btw," firmly declared another social media user.

Someone else, however, said dispassionately, "Violet Grohl should've been watching what her dad was doing instead of watching Taylor's jet."

Meanwhile, another fan defended Violet, saying, "The way swifties act over a violet grohl tweet simply calling taylor out for private jet usage is crazy."
