LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift's fans are celebrating what they believe is the work of "Tayvoodoo" after Philadelphia Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson was traded to the Houston Texans on Tuesday, March 11.

Swifties are linking the trade to Gardner-Johnson’s controversial comments about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance, which he made while celebrating the Eagles' dominant Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to PageSix, CJ Gardner-Johnson, safety for the Philadelphia Eagles, was traded to the Houston Texans on Tuesday. In exchange, the Eagles received former first-round pick Kenyon Green and a fifth-round pick in the 2026 draft.

Gardner-Johnson, who still had two years left in his $27 million contract signed last March, left many Philadelphia fans confused and disappointed by the trade. However, Taylor Swift’s fans are celebrating the move, as Gardner-Johnson recently made crude remarks about Swift and her boyfriend, Kelce.

The controversy began after CJ Gardner-Johnson wore a sweatshirt reading “Swifties Can LIX My Balls” during the Eagles’ Super Bowl celebration parade, following their victory over Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs.

Gardner-Johnson further angered Swift's fans when he suggested that Kelce shouldn’t have broken up with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, and insinuated that his relationship with Swift contributed to the Chiefs' loss.

He also reposted an image of Nicole on Instagram, which drew more backlash. Both women attended the big game on February 9, Sunday, with the 'Willow' singer in a suite alongside Kelce’s family and friends, while Nicole cheered from a separate section of the stands.

Swift, who supported the Chiefs, and Nicole, who backed the Eagles, were both seen showing their support for their respective sides during the game.
