Trump's 'landslide victory' splits Hollywood: Christina Applegate, Hulk Hogan and other celebs speak out

The election results led to diverse opinions shared by celebrities online. Here's what a few like Elon Musk and Billie Eilish had to say about Trump's win

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump regained the Oval Office after he was declared the president-elect following Tuesday, November 5 election. He ended up winning the Electoral College and the popular vote as well.

The election results certainly divided the opinions shared by some Hollywood celebrities. Some felt dejected whereas some rejoiced and praised the President-elect for his win. Here's how Hollywood reacted to Donald Trump’s win.

1. Scott Baio

Scott Baio shared a video on X and captioned it "November 6th, 2024 thoughts." The actor read many celebrities' names, including Robert De Niro, Taylor Swift, and Julia Roberts, who endorsed or campaigned for Harris and concluded reading the list by blowing a raspberry.



 

2. Hulk Hogan

Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan, a Trump supporter, shared a post on Instagram and wrote, "Believe it or not, brother, we’re more alike than we are different. This election season showed just how much we all care about where this country’s headed. 3. Rob Schneider

Actor Rob Schneider posted a photograph of the Washington Monument with an American Flag waving beneath it on social media platform X. He captioned it, "THERE WILL BE NO LATE NIGHT BALLOT DROP THIS YEAR… THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN."



 

He added, "THIS IS A LANDSLIDE VICTORY AND A MANDATE FOR OUR 47TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES DONALD J TRUMP."

4. 50 Cent

5. Elon Musk

Billionaire and Donald Trump supporter Elon Musk also congratulated the new President-elect on regaining the Oval Office. He wrote on X, "The people of America gave @realDonaldTrump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight."



 

6. Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate seemed dejected and took out her frustration on social media platform X. She wrote in a post, "Why? Give me your reasons why????? My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why?And if you disagree , please unfollow me."



 

She wrote in another post, "Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights. Against disability rights. Yeah that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal. Don’t want followers like this. So yeah. Done. Also after today I will be shutting down this fan account that I have had for so many years because this is sick."



 

7. Jamie Lee Curtis

9. Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish, who endorsed Kamala Harris in a video made alongside her brother, Finneas, in September 2024, reacted to Trump regaining the Oval Office. She wrote in an Instagram story, "It's a war on women."

10. Mandy Moore
