'Ultimate hypocrites!': Kamala Harris trolled for claiming they have no intention of banning TikTok
WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris sidestepped questions on Sunday, March 24, whether her campaign would actively use TikTok, despite the fact that she and President Joe Biden have voiced national security concerns about the Chinese-owned app.
ABC's Rachel Scott pressed the vice president during the interview by asking, "You have expressed national security concerns over TikTok. So has the president. Why does your campaign then have a TikTok account where you’re encouraging Americans to follow it?"

"So, let's start with this: We do not intend to ban TikTok," VP Harris replied.
What did Kamala Harris say regarding her campaign’s use of TikTok?
Vice President Kamala Harris explained that they had national security concerns about the "owner of TikTok," yet acknowledged the platform's value as a source of income for its users, as well as its capacity for disseminating information.
"We have concerns about the national security implications of the owner of TikTok, and that has been our position in terms of what I think we need to do to address those concerns," she stated.
Per a Fox News report, Scott outright asked Harris whether her campaign ought to stay on the embattled social media platform in light of its potential threats to national security.

Harris asserted, "Well, we’ll address that when we come to it, but right now we are concerned about the owner of TikTok, and the national security implications. We do not intend to ban TikTok, and we understand its purpose and its utility, and the enjoyment that it gives a lot of folks."
Harris and Biden have made several appearances in TikTok videos, despite the national security concerns that surround the app.
The president has expressed his intention to sign the aforementioned bipartisan bill, which has already passed in the House if it eventually reaches his desk.
During the interview, Scott inquired of the vice president whether the Israeli Prime Minister's intended invasion was being regarded as a "red line" for the current administration.
"We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake," Harris declared. "Let me tell you something: I have studied the maps. There's nowhere for those folks to go."

In response to a query regarding potential repercussions should Netanyahu proceed anyway, Harris stated, "We're going to take it one step at a time, but we've been very clear in terms of our perspective on whether or not [an invasion] should happen."
Scott pressed further, "Are you ruling out that there would be consequences from the United States?"
"I am ruling out nothing," Harris claimed.
