MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Stephen Colbert exhibited a sense of being appropriately unsettled during his monologue on the January 29 episode of 'The Late Show'.

This was in response to him explaining to his audience how Taylor Swift’s most devoted fans had unearthed numerous astonishing numerical coincidences related directly to the singer and the upcoming NFL Super Bowl.

Upon concluding, he asserted that the Swifties' interpretations mean “whatever the Swifties think it means" and emphasized his desire not to provoke their ire.

In his monologue, the host arrived at this point by initially discussing the Super Bowl itself, highlighting how it has stirred strong reactions from right-wing pundits. Colbert pointed out that Swift is romantically involved with Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Given the existing disdain toward Swift among conservatives, Kelce has become a target of their animosity as well.

During his monologue, the CBS host got there by first talking about the Super Bowl itself, which as Stephen Colbert noted has made right wing pundits lose their minds.(

Following the Chiefs' victory against the Baltimore Ravens, propelling them to the Super Bowl, the mainstream of conservative thought online became fixated on peculiar conspiracy theories.

“The Taylor Swift Super Bowl isn’t making everyone happy, because right-wing figures like Vivek Ramaswamy are claiming this whole thing is a conspiracy, suggesting that the Super Bowl will be rigged for the Chiefs to set the stage for Taylor Swift’s Biden endorsement,” Colbert explained while putting on sunglasses to impersonate President Joe Biden.

“That’s wack, Jack. Come on. I’m not joking. I’m serious. That’s never gonna happen. Taytay wouldn’t even get the good tickets for the heiress tour,” Colbert, in Biden's voice, humorously remarked.

Colbert takes a hilarious dive into the 'number hole' as swifties decode 13-related clues

Colbert humorously guided his audience through the "number hole," where Swifties have connected various 13-related elements to Taylor Swift's potential attendance at the event.

“The Swifties have their own conspiracy theories, because some of the Swifties out there pointed out some suspicious coincidences surrounding Taylor’s favorite number, 13,” Colbert said.

He began by noting that Super Bowl 58 adds up to 13 when combining the digits (5 + 8). He then highlighted the Swifties' observation that if Taylor Swift attends the game, it would mark her 13th time at a Chiefs game.

The date of the Super Bowl, 2/11, also conveniently adds up to 13 when the digits are combined (2 + 11).

The late-night host, with a hint of mock amazement, further entertained the Swifties' theories by pointing out that if Taylor were to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas, the flight duration would be approximately 13 hours.

To cap it all off, Colbert revealed that the Chiefs would be playing against the 49ers, and when you add the digits of 49 together (4 + 9), you get 13 once again.

In Colbert's signature comedic style, he exclaimed, "Oh my god. Oh my god. Anyone else have chills? This can only mean one thing – whatever the Swifties say it means. I don’t want them mad at me."
