BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood icon Harrison Ford, 82, was seen navigating a moment of distress as the Los Angeles Police Department escorted him to his Brentwood home amidst the chaos of the ongoing wildfire crisis.

The 'Indiana Jones' star was spotted parked outside his neighborhood on Wednesday, deep in conversation with police officers, before being taken to his $20 million property to assess the situation.

Harrison Ford and his Brentwood neighbors face evacuations

Dressed in jeans, a T-shirt, and a black jacket, Harrison Ford appeared casual yet visibly concerned, reflecting the unease that has gripped the region.

Upon returning from his property inspection, he was seen engaging with neighbors, who, like him, anxiously awaited updates about the state of their homes, the Express US reported.

The current condition of Ford’s property remains unclear, but the escalating Palisades Fire, which began early morning on January 8, has wreaked havoc across Brentwood.

According to the New York Times, over 1,000 homes have already been destroyed, leaving the community on edge as the fire remains uncontained.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency, ordering the evacuation of more than 70,000 Los Angeles residents as firefighters battle the unrelenting flames.

Brentwood, known for its celebrity residents and luxurious estates, has not been spared.

Fans defend trolls saying Harrison Ford's property visit was 'special treatment'

Amid the disaster and his distress, some had been trolling him on Reddit, writing, "Resident of Brentwood gets standard treatment as every other resident of Brentwood."

However, several have come to his defense as one fan chimed in, "Police are driving residents to their home in affected areas. This isn’t special treatment."

Another added, "Ford has assisted responders dozens of times as a pilot and did it all at his own expense. Maybe give a leeway that there is a reason for escorting him.

If it's just celebrity favoritism, that is total BS, but it may not be."

Someone else noted, "It’s not favoritism, it’s due process. This is how they are making sure that people going up. There are meant to be there. They have to show their IDs with their address and then a police escort takes them up there. They’re given five minutes to assess their property and then they are taken back down. There is a long list of other people waiting for their own five minutes."

A follower remarked, "It’s downright trashy to be filming people most of the time, it should be criminal while people are just trying to figure out if their home is standing. They really have no shame."

One comment declared, "Not only is he not getting special treatment, why have they made an entire article that's pretty much just tabloid photos of a sad old man?"

Several Hollywood stars impacted by devastating Palisades fire

Harrison Ford’s decision to personally check on his property underscores the emotional toll the wildfire crisis has taken on Brentwood residents.

With mandatory evacuations and homes reduced to rubble, the air is thick not just with smoke but with uncertainty and fear.

Ford’s neighbors, many of whom are also public figures, have echoed these sentiments as they scramble for safety and hold out hope for their homes.

The destruction has forced many to leave behind cherished possessions and memories in the face of a natural disaster that shows no signs of relenting.

Kim Kardashian’s $70 million Malibu mansion is reportedly at risk, as properties along the Pacific Coast Highway have been reduced to ashes.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is another high-profile figure affected by the disaster.

The 'Argo' actor was seen seeking refuge at the home of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as his recently purchased $20.5 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades stands in the fire’s direct path.

Other stars, including Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, Leighton Meester, and Adam Brody, are also facing the devastating consequences of the fires.

The Palisades Fire is one of several wildfires devastating Southern California, with strong winds and dry conditions fueling its spread.

Local officials have called for immediate evacuation of high-risk areas, emphasizing the importance of safety over property.
