WASHINGTON, DC: JD Vance's "Never Trump Guy" quote has turned into a trending song on TikTok, where creators are dancing to the humorous remix.

This catchy tune has become a viral sensation, bringing Vance's previous anti-Trump sentiments into the spotlight in an unexpected way, as per Indy100.

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump recently announced 39-year-old Republican Ohio Senator Vance as his running mate and potential vice president should he win the upcoming election in November.

JD Vance's anti-Trump comments become viral

JD Vance's past comments about Donald Trump have now been immortalized in a trending TikTok song.

Vance once labeled himself a "never Trump guy" and admitted he "never liked" Trump. However, he changed his stance and secured Trump’s endorsement while running for the Senate in 2022.

TikTok creator @casadimusic took these anti-Trump comments and remixed them into a song that has taken the platform by storm. The remix begins with a woman’s voice questioning Trump’s choice of Vance as his running mate before transitioning into Vance's critical quotes set to a catchy beat.

The song has been used in nearly 2,500 TikTok videos, with users sharing their amusement and disbelief at Vance's political flip-flop. The trend has even reached the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, whose team labeled it the "song of the summer" in a comment.

Before his alliance with Trump, Vance was vocal in his criticisms, calling Trump an "idiot" and "reprehensible" publicly, while privately comparing him to Adolf Hitler, according to Reuters.

His dramatic shift from a "never Trumper" to a staunch supporter has raised eyebrows and sparked debates about his motivations.

Vance's transformation has led to speculation about whether his newfound loyalty to Trump is driven by genuine ideological alignment or mere opportunism.

Vance, author of the bestselling memoir 'Hillbilly Elegy' and now a US Senator from Ohio, stands out in Trump's inner circle due to his initial opposition to the former president.

Some Republicans and many Democrats question Vance's motives, suggesting that his shift might be more about seizing political opportunity than holding steadfast beliefs.

Nonetheless, Trump and his advisers perceive Vance's transformation as sincere, noting that Vance’s political views—marked by isolationism and economic populism—align closely with Trump's platform.
