WASHINGTON, DC: Less than five months before the US presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly expressed her thoughts on the possible running mates for former president Donald Trump.

Senators JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Governor Doug Burgum are the three Republicans to whom the Trump campaign allegedly provided VP vetting materials, HuffPost reported.

Additionally, Senator Tim Scott, Representatives Byron Donalds, Elise Stefanik, and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson have also had requests for papers from Trump's team made.

As abortion has proven to be a winning issue for Democrats, Harris singled out Trump's prospective running mates in an interview with Politico Playbook over the weekend. She pointed out that some of the Republicans on the list even went so far as to vote against a Senate bill last week that codified Americans' right to contraception.

She said, "Everyone on that list has supported a Trump abortion ban in their state or has called for a national ban. Trump wants an enabler."

She added, "He doesn’t want a governing partner. He doesn’t want another Mike Pence, and I think that is clear. The litmus test is, are they going to be absolutely loyal to Trump over the country or their oath of office, or, frankly, the American people?"

Notably, Trump attacked his former vice president Pence on several occasions for not trying to alter the outcomes of the 2020 election. Pence announced his own presidential bid last year but withdrew when it didn't get any support.

Moreover, Harris also targeted Donalds, the congressman for Florida's 19th Congressional District, for remarks he made recently asserting that Black American families were 'together' throughout the Jim Crow era of legal segregation.

She said, "It’s sadly yet another example of somebody out of Florida trying to erase or rewrite our true history."

Notably, previous hints from Trump indicate that he would probably make his announcement at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee the following month.

Kamala Harris slammed as she identifies what every Donald Trump VP contender has in common

Vice President Kamala Harris drew flak online as she expressed her thoughts on the possible running mates for former president Donald Trump.

The online comments slammed the Democrat, with one social media user saying, "Harris can't identify a woman, much less any VP contenders for Trump. She's not even a contender for her own position at this point."

Another said, "Harris has been the most do nothing VP in memory. Biden will lose many votes out of fear she could become President."

One person asked, "The thing that they have in common? Simple, they were selected on their ability to provide quality leadership to this country…. Not because they checked certain boxes."

Another added, "People are going to factor in the VP more than any other time. I honestly think America would prefer all of Trump VP choices over Kamala with the exception of Tim Scott."

One reader wrote, "The thing they have in common is the way the country is being presently run by the Dems. High inflation, out of control crime, illegal immigration, and overspending on everything, to name a few."

Another individual stated, "Trumps VP candidates all have the same advantage. They are not Kamala Harris."

One added, "They're all smarter and more qualified than Kamala!"
